Amelia V. Kent
CUMBERLAND - Amelia V. "Molly" Kent, 91, of 1 Mendon Rd. passed away Tuesday in the St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. She was the beloved wife of the late John I. Kent.
Born in Cumberland she was the daughter of the late John and Eleanor (Taraska) Kolodziej. She was a life long Cumberland resident.
She was employed by the Ann & Hope, Cumberland for 30 years before retiring.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church, Cumberland and a member of the church Women's Club for many years. Mrs. Kent was also a member of the Cumberland Tenants Association, the Cumberland and St. Aidan Seniors.
She leaves three sons, John I. Kent, and his wife Christine of Smithfield; Richard C. Kent of Cumberland and Robert L. Kent and his wife Cynthia of Estero, FL. One sister Irene Greene of Valrico, FL. Mrs. Kent also leaves four grandchildren, Master Sgt., U. S. Army, Nathan, Kent of Ft. Sam Houston, TX; Christopher Kent of Providence; Gwyneth and Terrence Kent both of Cumberland. One great grandson, Zachary Kent in Texas. She was also the sister of the late Louis Kolodziej.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Broad St., Cumberland. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
