PAWTUCKET - Alphonse Orlowski, 86, of Broadway, Pawtucket died on Sunday, March 3, 2013. He was the husband of Irene Orlowski.
Mr. Orlowski was born in Central Falls, the son of the late Joseph and Regina Orlowski. He was employed by Conlon Movers for many years. Al was a United States Army Veteran of WWII. He was an avid bowler at the East Providence Lanes.
Besides his wife Irene, Mr. Orlowski is survived by his children, Douglas Orlowski of Florida and Charles Bagley of Pawtucket. He also leaves his sister Rita McEvoy of Dighton Ma., and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Orlowski was the brother of the late Anthony Orlowski.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Orlowski on Friday at 11:00 am in the Holy Family Parish Church (formerly St. Joseph's), 195 Walcott Street, Pawtucket.
His burial will be with full Military Honors in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. The calling hours for Mr. Orlowski will be Friday morning from 9:00 am until 10:00 am in the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket.
