PAWTUCKET: Alicia Mejia, entered into eternal rest on January 19, 2011 at the Evergreen Nursing Center.
Born in Colombia, she came to the United States in 1983 and made her home in Pawtucket.
She was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family and friends. Alicia is survived by her children, Karitzia Mejia, Eddie Mejia, and Renzo Mejia and his wife Nellie. Her three children adored her and will be forever in their hearts. Besides her three children, she leaves two granddaughters, Melanie and Rochellie Mejia and a grandson, Saeddien Mejia. She was the sister of Josefina Uribe of Maryland; Mary Ferrer of New York; Cecilia Collante and Enrique Jamboos residing in Colombia, two nieces, Yvonne Goldberg of Maryland and Marlyn Collante of Providence and many other nieces and nephews in Colombia.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, January 22nd at 11:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John the Baptist Church, 69 Quincy Ave, Pawtucket at 12:30pm.
