Albert C. Wingate
PAWTUCKET - Albert C. Wingate, 71, of East Avenue, died Thursday, January 19, at the Philip Hulitar In-Patient Center, Providence.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Henry R. and Mary L. (Miller) Wingate, he was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mr. Wingate was a Department Manager for Almacs Supermarkets for many years. He was a veteran of the Rhode Island Army National Guard.
He is survived by two daughters, Tracey Burns of Attleboro, MA., and Stacey Harrop of Seekonk, MA.; one son, Robert W. Wingate of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Robert H. Wingate of Lincoln; six grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.
His funeral and burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to Home & Hospice Care of R.I., 1085 North Main Street, Providence, R.I. 02904, would be appreciated.
