CUMBERLAND - Adeline Piepszny, 93, passed away Tuesday August 5, 2014 at her residence in Port Orange, FL. She was the beloved wife of the late Matthew J. Piepszny. They were married for 43 years.
Born in Central Falls she was a daughter of the late Franciszek and Paulina (Chuckla) Pasciak. She lived in Cumberland for most of her life.
She was a graduate of Central Falls High School. Before retiring Adeline was employed as a Bookkeeper for Guyan Mills, Bonney Blouse Co. and North Central Airways.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church of Central Falls, and a member and Past Treasurer of the former St. Joseph's Seniors and also a member of St. Aidan's Seniors of Cumberland.
Mrs. Piepszny is survived by her devoted daughter Patricia Bartosiak and her husband Steven of Port Orange, FL, two loving grandchildren, Michael Bartosiak and his wife Sharon of Mascoutah, IL, and Pauline Colamatteo and her husband Orlando of Centennial, CO, two cherished great grandsons, Jacob Bartosiak of IL and Owen Colamatteo of CO. She also leaves her two sisters in law Stacia Rossi and Alice Ferguson both of Pawtucket, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph Pasciak.
Mrs. Piepszny's funeral will be held Wednesday August 13, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Josephâ€™s Church 391 High Street Central Falls at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. CALLING HOURS WEDNESDAY FROM 8:30 A.M. TO 9:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations to St. Joseph's Church Renovation Fund would be greatly appreciated. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
