CUMBERLAND - Adelia Miguel, 84, formerly of Hilltop Road, passed away Tuesday in the St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. She was the wife of the late Joaquim Miguel. Born in Cabra-Gouveia, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Carlota (deJesus) Ferreira.
She moved to this country in 1952, settling in Cumberland.
She leaves her beloved son, Antonio Miguel, and his wife Deborah of Cumberland; granddaughter Jill Teixeira, two great-granddaughters, Joy and Hope Teixeira, all of Cumberland; sister, Racquel Freitas of Brazil.
A celebration of her life will be held Monday at 10 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in the Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting Hours will be held Sunday, 4-7 PM.
