CUMBERLAND - Adele Walach 96, of 1 Mendon Road passed away Friday May 16, 2014 at the Grandview Center. She was the beloved wife of the late John M. Walach.
Born in Central Falls she was a daughter of the late John and Agata (Gorlowska) Orzechowski. She lived in Cumberland for the past 63 years.
Before retiring in 1982 Adele was employed by the Ann & Hope Store of Cumberland for 12 years. She was a member of the St. Joseph's Church Holy Rosary Society.
Mrs. Walach is survived by her loving family, one daughter Barbara T. Cullen and her husband John of Lincoln, one son Michael J. Walach and his wife Jean of San Carlos, CA, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Sophie Hebner, Anita Brzostecki, Rose Tamul, Stanley and Paul Orzechowski.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday May 21, 2014 at 8;30 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s Church 391 High Street Central Falls at 10:00 a.m. CALLING HOURS TUESDAY FROM 4:00 P.M. To 7:00 P.M. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
