PAWTUCKET – Tolman High left its Division II playoff hopes in the hands of Juanita Sanchez’s Miguel Prieto, the state’s leading scorer, on Tuesday night in a quarterfinal round contest. Not a good idea.
Kentucky played host to SEC league door matt Auburn and appropriately blew them out of the gym. Kentucky used a 23-2 run in the first half to break open a 27 point first half lead. They never looked back as Auburn never seriously threatened again. Karl Anthony Towns led Kentucky with 19 points and 10 rebounds.
