During the YMCA of Pawtucket 121st Annual Meeting at the Pawtucket Country Club on Monday night, February 7, 2011, 2010 Volunteer of the Year Winner James Anderson, who received the award for his volunteer work to save the earthern dam that contains the Quidnick Reservoir following three significant rainstorms in the spring of 2010, shrugged his shoulders and quipped "It was a team effort. On Wednesday afternoon, February 2, 2011 in front of St. Leo's Church on Centrtal Avenue in Pawtucket, RI, church maintenance worker Bob Cooke uses a snowblower to clear the heavy rain soaked snow from the sidewalk in front of the church, as the darker wet snow sputters from the discharge chute and gets clogged at the base. Given the weight of rain soaked snow, Cooke constantly battled pulling back on the snowblower to lessen the load, but still experienced frequent stalling of the motor due to the heavier wetter snow.
