Irma F. Oliveira
PAWTUCKET- Irma F. Oliveira, 54, passed April 17th with her loving family by her side.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde, a daughter of the late Arnaldo and Irma (Gomes) Andrade.
She had been employed by Providence Metalizing for eight years than Cintas for the past two years.
She is survived by two sons, Edalio and Stephan Oliveira, a daughter Aisha Gamboa, and her longtime companion Joao Gamboa, three sisters, Rita Andrade, Zulmira Alves and Beatrice Andrade, five brothers, Paul, Carlos, Anildo, Amancio and Agui Andrade and many nieces and nephews.
George T. Allen Jr.
ATTLEBORO- George T. Allen Jr. of Attleboro, MA, died Monday, April 16, 2012 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro, MA.
Mr. Allen was born in Providence, the son of the late George T. Allen Sr. and Elizabeth H. Gifford.
He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Allen was a longtime member of the Captain Elwood J. Euart Post, Pawtucket, He was a foreman at American Insulated Wire for many years and a longtime bartender at the Latin Quarter Lounge, Pawtucket.
PAWTUCKET- Walter Hoskins, 81, of Altoona, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. He was the beloved husband of the late Ruth M. (Carver) Hoskins.
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Walter R. and Emma (Foxall) Hoskins.
WOONSOCKET- Patricia Bombardier, 73, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late John McKinley and Rita (Oldfield) McKinley-Duffy, and step-daughter of the late Eugene Duffy. She had lived most of her life in Woonsocket.
BOSTON â€” Hilary Dionne, a former cross-country and track & field standout from Cumberland High School, finished 15th among women at the Boston Marathon Monday, crossing the finish line in 2:51.56. Her time was third-best among American winners. Dionne, who now works in Boston, graduated from Cumberland in 2003.
The 26-year-old Dionne averaged six minutes, 19 seconds during the first 6.2 miles of the race before shaving off five seconds over the next three-plus miles of the grueling 26.2-mile test of endurance and stamina. She ended up placing 256th overall and 11th in her age group (18-39).
PAWTUCKET â€” Minutes after Cumberland Highâ€™s respectable but not outstanding 5-3 triumph over St. Raphael Academy on Monday afternoon, Clippersâ€™ skipper Paul Murphy reacted to the pure facts â€“ that the last four hitters in his lineup had assembled a collective 4-for-11 outing, good for a .364 average, four RBI and a run scored.
WOONSOCKET â€” The former Supreme Court justice who has been presiding over Central Falls as receiver will be the guest speaker during a general membership meeting of the Woonsocket Taxpayer Coalition next week.
Lawyer Robert G. Flanders Jr. will speak on the subject of municipal receivership and bankruptcy, said Acting WTC President Sharon Geving. The meeting, which is open to the public, will be held April 26 at the Elks Club, 380 Social St., at 6:30 p.m.
Paul E. Vary
PAWTUCKET- Paul E. Vary, 88, of Pawtucket, died Sunday, April 15th at the Philip Hulitar Center, Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island, after a brief hospitalization. He was the husband of Yvette (Richard) Vary.
Mr. Vary was born in Central Falls, the son of the late Emanuel and Josephine (Chartier) Vary and he was a lifelong resident of the Blackstone Valley. He was a builder/contractor and was the owner/operator of Darl Construction for many years, retiring in 1986.
AMESBURY, MA- Ronald Krzywonos, age 59, of Amesbury, died peacefully on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill.
He was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, September 13, 1952, son of the late Joseph and Bertha (Pyzek) Krzywonos and was a graduate of St. Raphael's Academy in Pawtucket and Bryant College in Smithfield, RI, going on to do post graduate studies at Bentley College in Waltham.
Robin L. Lennon
PAWTUCKET- Robin L. Lennon, 49 passed away on April 8, 2012.
She was the beloved mother of Adam and Alec Lennon, daughter of Ann Lamoureux and Charles P. Lennon, sister of Donna Reynolds and Kristin Theroux.

EAST GREENWICH- Virginia M. (O' Gara) Monaghan, 93 of East Greenwich and formerly of Pawtucket passed away peacefully in the company of her family at South County Hospital in Wakefield, RI on April 14, 2012.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she had resided at the Seasons in East Greenwich for the past five years.
She was the widow of David B. Monaghan, Sr. to whom she had been married for nearly fifty years.
She was the daughter of the late William and Madeline (Reilly) O' Gara) and the sister of the late Madeline (O' Gara) Brandon.

Edward Dyson Jr.
PAWTUCKET- Edward Dyson Jr, "Eddy" 49, passed Thursday at home.
He was the son of Edward Dyson Sr, and the late Barbara (Handy) Dyson. He had been employed by the Wrentham State Developmental Center for many years.
He is survived by a daughter, Nichol Dyson Hill of Indiana, two sons, Branden and Tyler Dyson, a brother, Thomas Paquette, five sisters, Mary Dyson Burt, Deborah, Trish, Misty, and Georgia Dyson and two grandchildren. He was the former husband of Sheri Dyson. He was the brother of the late Frederick Paquette.
SEEKONK- Josephine (Vendentullo) Green, 93, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 11, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Clayton V. Green.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Antonio and Concetta (Primiano) Vendentullo, she resided in Seekonk over fifty years.
Josephine was a sales clerk at the Miriam Hospital Gift Shop for fifteen years until retiring in 1998, and was previously an inspector at the J. C. Hall Company, Pawtucket for many years. She enjoyed playing cards.
PAWTUCKET- Helen Lewandowski (Stryker) formerly of George St. passed away Sunday April 8, 2012 at Steere House in Providence after a prolonged illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Lewandowski Sr.
Born in Central Falls she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Louise (Strycharz) Stryker. She was a life long resident of Pawtucket.
