CUMBERLAND - Dr. Georgios Triantafilos Eystathiades, 84, formerly of Barrows Street, Cumberland, died Wednesday at the Berkshire Place Health and Rehabilitation Center, Providence. He is the husband of Rose (Marchi) Stathe aka Stathes.
Born in Nigrita Thessaloniki Greece, he was the son of the late Triantafilos and Polixeni (Sotiras) Eystathiades. He came to the US in 1955 and settled in Providence. He moved to Pawtucket in 2003.
PAWTUCKET - Edward C. Czyzewicz, 57, passed away Sunday June 17, 2012 with his family at his side. He was the beloved husband of Leslie F. (Oliver) Czyzewicz.
Born in Central Falls he was a devoted son of Frances V. (Czupryna) Czyzewicz and the late Tady E. Czyzewicz. He was a life long resident of Pawtucket.
Before retiring Ed was employed as a Mechanic for National Grid for 25 years and was also a local Musician most notably with the Bands Strutt and Illusion. He was a member of the BUW Local # 310.
ATTLEBORO - Paul E. Pankow III, 34 of South Main St., Attleboro, died Sunday at Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
He was the fiance of Latisha Peacock.
He was born in Denver, Colorado, a son of Paul E. Pankow Jr., and the late Alice (Athersmith) Pankow.
Paul was a receiving manager for Gardner Inc. for over 3 years.
He has lived in Attleboro for over 3 years coming from Pawtucket and Nebraska.
Paul enjoyed fishing.
WARWICK - Anthony, Santa (Cambria), 86, formerly of Pawtucket passed away surrounded by her loving family Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Warwick.
Born in Sicily, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Onofrio and Josephine (Spinella) Cambria; loving mother of Jerome Squadrito, Joanna Interlini, Thomas Anthony, Tino Anthony, Joseph Anthony and Tina Baptista; sister of Frank Cambria, Natalie Hatch and the late Joseph Cambria.
PAWTUCKET - Kaveny, John P., 90, of Rosemont Ave Pawtucket passed away Sunday June 17, 2012 at Memorial Hospital of RI. He was the husband of Mary Ann (McCaughey) Kaveny.
He was born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Patrick J. and Julia M. (McCabe) Kaveny.
John worked for the Pawtucket School Department as a teacher at Goff Junior High School for 38 years. He was past President of the Pawtucket Teacher's Alliance. He was a Lector and Eucharistic Minister of the former Sacred Heart Church. John was also an Army Veteran of World War II.
CENTRAL FALLS - Jorge Inacio, 40, of Parker Street died unexpectedly Sunday, June 17, 2012.
Born in Sobral Da Lagoa, Portugal, he was the beloved son of Celestino and Maria (Domingos) Inacio of Pawtucket. He came to the United States in 1978.
He was the manager of the Molding Department of Sanford-White Company, Central Falls for the past 20 years.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his three loving sisters, Lina Inacio Fatal, Isabel Vito and Ana Inacio; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the brother of the late Carols Inacio.
PAWTUCKET - Mary F. (Bernard) O'Connell, 90, of Pawtucket died Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island, Providence. She was the wife of the late Pawtucket Police Sgt. Ralph E. O' Connell. They were married 55 years.
Mrs. O'Connell was born in Pawtucket, a lifelong resident of the city, the daughter of the late Edmond J. and Sarah A. (Tennyson) Bernard.
Mary was a homemaker. She was a past member of the St. Teresa's Senior Group, and the Leon Mathieu Senior Center. She was also a member of the St. Mary's Bowling League for 47 years.
PAWTUCKET - Eugene F. LaCroix, 85, of Pawtucket, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Dolores LaCroix.
Born in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Henri LaCroix and Yvonne (Tremblay) LaCroix. Eugene was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He was an avid traveler and gifted at solving puzzles. He was a proud veteran of World War II.
CUMBERLAND - Henriette E. Jovin, "Etta" 88, passed peacefully June 17th. She was the wife of the late Alfred D. Jovin Sr.
Born in New Bedford, MA, Etta was a daughter of the late Josephat and Eva (Benoit) Angers.
She had been employed by Hasbro Industries of Pawtucket for many years.
Henriette received many citations throughout her generous life of charity, she volunteered at many food banks was always kind to those in time of need.
PAWTUCKET - Robert J. Neville, Sr., 89, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Eva I. (Chabot) Neville, the couple would have celebrated their sixty-first wedding anniversary on June 23, 2012.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late James L. and Alma (Stillwachs) Neville. Bob was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. He was a printer at Highland Textile Printworks, Providence, for thirty-five years before retiring in 1983. Bob was an avid gardener; loyal Red Sox fan and a former member of the Royal Travelers.
SOUTH ATTLEBORO - Francoise (Croce) Shevchuk, 92, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Alexander A. Shevchuk.
Born in Septemes-les-Vallons, France, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (Alpe) Croce. Mrs. Shevchuk came to the United States from Marseilles, France in 1946 and settled in Pawtucket, she moved to South Attleboro in 1964. Mrs. Shevchuk was employed by the Fram Corporation, East Providence for forty years until retiring in 1980.
PAWTUCKET - Frank J. Pluta, 85, passed June 17, 2012. He was the husband of the late Mary (Medeiros) Pluta.
Born in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Stacia (Strzempek) Pluta. He resided the past 8 years at Blackstone Falls and previously was a longtime Pawtucket resident.
Frank had been employed by the former Almacs for many years. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 251. He was an Army WWII Veteran.
LINCOLN - Robert Fortunati, 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 16, 2012. Bob was born Roberto Guglielmo Fortunati, in Providence, to the late Fabio and Annuziata (DiSantis) Fortunati. Starting early in the tile business, he left for the US Army as a young man and was stationed in Germany. Once returning, he soon founded Crest Distributors, Inc., established in Central Falls, his most successful endeavor.
CUMBERLAND - Maria Irene Laires, 79, of Garvin St., passed away Saturday in the R. I. Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of Antonio A. Laires.
Born in Porto, Portugal she was the daughter of the late Joao R. and Sara (da Conceicao) Ferreira. She came to this country in 1977 settling in Cumberland.
She was a devoted wife and mother and also a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Cumberland.
LINCOLN - Diana I. Smothers, 54, passed June 14th at home with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of Michael J. Smothers. They have been married for 20 years.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of Elaine McCreadie of Lincoln and the late Robert McCreadie Sr. Diana had dedicated her life to her family.
PAWTUCKET - Frank Riley, 95, passed away peacefully at home in the presence of his family on Friday, June 15, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Idola (Ross) Riley for 69 years.
Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, he was a son of the late Ernest and Mary Emma (Crossley) Riley. Frank was a World War II US Army veteran and worked as a master book binder for the J.C. Hall Co., Pawtucket, for 32 years until his retirement. Frank was a longtime volunteer and first aid instructor for the American Red Cross.
FLORIDA - MORRIS, Frank, Jr., 80, of Lakeland, Florida died Wednesday, June 6, 2012.
He was born in Pawtucket, RI, where he lived most of his life before moving to Florida.
He served in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his daughter, Karen Ayers, of Florida; his sister, Genevieve Hervieux of East Providence; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

PAWTUCKET - Raymond J. O'Riley, 90, of Goff Ave., Pawtucket passed away June 10, 2012 at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center, Providence.
He was the husband of the late Mary (Bolandz) O'Riley. He was born in Providence, the son of the late Mildred Frechette. He was also the son of his adoptive parents Margaret and George O'Riley.
He worked in numerous restaurants as a cook in RI, also owning two restaurants in Providence. He worked in food service his entire life, retiring at age 83. He served in the US Military (Navy) during WWII and received the Purple Heart.
PAWTUCKET - Richard T. Biliouris, 67, went to be with our Lord on April 16, 2012, after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.
Richard was born in Pawtucket to the late Charles and Mildred Biliouris. Richard graduated from Tolman High School, class of 1963 and attended the University of Rhode Island.
PAWTUCKET - Manuel L. Medina, 87, of Pawtucket died June 12, 2012. He was the husband of Estela (Cardoso) Medina.
He was born in Figueira DaFoz, Portugal, son of the late Jose and Maria Lopes (Raposeiro) Medina.
Besides his wife he is survived by 1 son Joseph Medina of East Providence, 1 daughter Elaine Falk of North Providence and 1 granddaughter.
His funeral will be held on Saturday at 10am in the Mt. Hope Community Baptist Church 734 Hope St. Providence. Calling hours will be held on Friday 5-8pm in the church. Burial will be in St. Stephens Cemetery, Attleboro.
