PAWTUCKET - Jeannette J. Rochford, of Lowell Avenue, Pawtucket died July 8, 2012.
Mrs. Rochford was born in Pawtucket the daughter of the late Gilbert and Robertine (Gauthier) Arundale.
Mrs. Rochford is survived by her sons, Thomas Rochford and Alfred Rochford and her daughters Karen Rochford, Barbara Clermont and Michelle Duncan. She also leaves a sister Theresa Marques and ten grandchildren.
PAWTUCKET - Mary Silva, 88, of Duncan Avenue, Providence and formerly of Florida and Pawtucket passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012 surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Silva was born in Fall River MA, the daughter of the late Marcelino Carvalho and Erminia Souza. She was employed at Joyal Van Dale for over seventeen years before she retired.
Mrs. Silva is survived by her daughter Doreen Laughlin of Providence, her grandsons, Richard and Preston Laughlin, her great grandsons Isaac, Daeshaun, Malik Laughlin and her great granddaughter Vinyah Laughlin.
LINCOLN - James L. Bullock, 53, of Lincoln, died Sunday at home. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Donald H. Bullock Sr. and Jean (Lussier) Bullock.
He is survived by his sister Lynn M. Iannelli and her husband Kenneth, brothers Donald H. Bullock Jr. and his wife Susanne, Bruce B. Bullock and his wife Diane, nieces Melissa Goding, Bethany Ellis and Jessica Bullock, nephews Eric Paul, and Andre Henault. He was the loving uncle of many great nieces and nephews.
Jimmy was the brother of the late Paul Rounds.
LINCOLN - Donald E. Batty, died Thursday, July 5, at the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. He was the husband of the late Alice(Scott) Batty and the late Harriet (Politt) Batty.
Born in Valley Falls, he was a son of the late William R. and Mary (Campbell) Batty,
Mr. Batty was a Vice-President of Manufacturing for Standard Nut & Bolt Co.
PAWTUCKET - Couto, Manuel M., 74, of Rhode Island Avenue, Pawtucket, passed away peacefully at Rhode Island Hospital on Friday, July 6, 2012. He was the loving husband of Maria P. Couto.
Mr. Couto was born in St. Miguel, Azores, the son of the late Antonio and Clementina (Medeiros) Couto. He retired after working more than 20 years at American Insulated Wire.
Beside his wife, Manuel leaves his son, Tony P. Couto of East Providence and his daughter, Sandra P. Couto of Pawtucket.
Rose M. Gould
LINCOLN: Rose M. Gould, 80, passed July 5th after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Everett Gould.
Born in Fall River, MA, a daughter of the late Peter E. and Margaret (Kerwin) Provost.
She had resided in Pawtucket for most of her life then in East Providence for 20 years. She resided the past five years with her daughter, Rosemary and her son in law Steven Tetreault.
She had been employed by American Textile and Seekonk Lace Inc. She also worked at the Miriam Hospital in Housekeeping for 10 years.
SEEKONK- June Elaine Marchand, 86, of Perrin Avenue, Seekonk, died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the residence she had resided in her entire life.
Born in Seekonk, Massachusetts on January 31, 1926, she was a daughter of the late George Marchand, Sr. and Doris (Thornton) Marchand. She graduated from Seekonk High School.
Miss Marchand was employed as an assembler for Triangle Wire in Seekonk for many years prior to her retirement.
She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church in Seekonk.
Susan L. Jencks
CUMBERLAND- Susan L. (Vose) Jencks, 68, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 5, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Herchal Jencks.
Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Fred I. and Marion S. (Spelman) Vose.
Susan was a waitress at the former Meadowcrest Restaurant on Mendon Rd., Cumberland for many years and also worked as a CNA at The Holiday, Manville. During her free time she enjoyed playing bingo.
PAWTUCKET- Claire (Schenick) Mulholland, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 5, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late William B. Mulholland.
Born in Providence to Joseph and Edythe (Lukuskey) Schenick, Claire lived in Pawtucket most of her life, retiring after 25 years of working at Tolman High School as an Executive Assistant for the Pawtucket School Department. She was also a longtime Communicant at St. Teresa's Church and involved in the Dusza Almeida VFW Post 2339 Woman's Auxiliary.
Jose M. Brito
PAWTUCKET- Jose M. Brito, 54, passed July 4th. He was the husband of Domingas Brito.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde, a son of Etelvina Gomes Pereira of Cape Verde and the
late Victor de Brito.
Jeannine R. Voyer
LINCOLN- VOYER, JEANNINE R (RICHARD), 77, of Lincoln, passed away July 5, 2012 at Home and Hospice Care of RI. She was the beloved wife of Lawrence L. Voyer for 54 years, they resided at Canterbury Woods Assisted Living Facility in Attleboro, MA.
Born September 4, 1935 in Canada she was the daughter of the late Lionel and Jeannette Richard of Central Falls.
CENTRAL FALLS - Gabrielle A. Rattey, 91, formerly of Summer St, passed on July 5th. She was the wife of the late Roland A. Rattey.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Alma (Couture) Morin.

PAWTUCKET - Jean Roland Brousseau, 71, of Pawtucket, died on Monday, July 2, 2012 at his residence surrounded by loving family. Husband of Camille E. (Baris) Brousseau.
Born in Central Falls, RI on January 31, 1941, he was a son of the late George Henri and Roseanne (LeClair) Brousseau. He was a 1959 graduate of Sacred Heart Academy.
Mr. Brousseau served with the United States Army during the Vietnam War era having achieved the rank of Specialist 4th Class.
REHOBOTH - Ernest D. Malloy, 69, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 5, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Carol F. (Harris) Malloy.
Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Leslie and Martha (Schneider) Malloy.
Ernest worked as an asphalt layer and more recently as the grounds keeper at the RI Country Club, Barrington, until his retirement. He was a devoted family man and a hard worker.
PAWTUCKET - Alfred "Freddie" J. Conti, Sr., 92, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Cyrilla A. (Dailey) Conti, they would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on August 2, 2012.
Born in Lawrence, MA, the son of the late Carmen and Angelina (Roberti) Conti, he resided in Pawtucket most of his life. Freddie was a World War II U.S. Army Veteran, he served in the European Campaign. He had been a dispatcher for Arrow Transportation for many years.
PAWTUCKET - Eugene J.O. Bessette 85, passed away Tuesday July 3, 2012 at the VA Medical Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Josephine (Bozek) Bessette.
Born in Pawtucket he was a son of the late Joseph and Alice (Mc Duff) Bessette. He was a life long resident of Pawtucket.
He was the owner and operator of the Gene Bessette Plumbing and Heating Co. of Pawtucket and also worked at Brown University as a Plumber.
PAWTUCKET - Ferland, Eugene Henri, 85, of Hyde Avenue, Pawtucket passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at his home. He was the husband of Mary T. (Grant) Ferland.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Alphage and RoseAnna (Martel) Ferland, he was a resident of Pawtucket and until recently a resident of Pompano Beach, Florida.
Eugene was a building contractor and a principal in the Alphage Ferland and Sons Construction Company, which later became the Ferland Corporation. His other business interests were G&A Associates and Craig-Central Management.
PAWTUCKET - George A. Bishop, Sr., 81, of Pawtucket, passed away July 2, at home after a long illness. The son of the late Elmer H. and Winifred S. (Hamilton) Bishop, Sr., he leaves behind his beloved wife of sixty-four years, Ann M. (Goyette) Bishop.
PAWTUCKET - Kenneth J. Donahue, 60, a lifelong resident of Pawtucket, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at home.
Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late John F. Jr. and Rita (O'Brien) Donahue. Kenneth graduated from Johnson & Wales University with an Associates Degree in Business Management.
He was a disabled Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by five siblings, Susan McNulty, Michael, Timothy, and Stephen Donahue, and Patricia DeCosta-Donahue, and many nieces and nephews.
Thomas W. Holden
CUMBERLAND- Thomas W. Holden, a fifty-five year resident of Cumberland, passed on this past Saturday at Memorial Hospital, Pawtucket. He was the wife of the late Caroline (Miler) Holden.
Mr. Holden was World War II veteran of the Merchant Marine, where he served in three global theatres. He retired in 1990 after forty years of service with the Murdock Webbing Company of Central Falls.
