Jose L. Quinones-DeGros
PAWTUCKET. Jose L. Quinones-DeGros, 48, passed away on Friday surrounded by his family after an illness. He was the husband of Gale Gaines.
Frank R. Madonna
PAWTUCKET - Frank R. Madonna, 74, of Lake St, Pawtucket died Saturday, October 30, 2010.
He was the husband of Selma (David) Madonna. They spent 51 beautiful years together.
Mr. Madonna was born in Pawtucket, the son of the late Frank and Marie (Giuliotti) Madonna. He was an iron worker at the former Newman Crosby for many years.
Mr. Madonna was a United States Navy Veteran, a member of the Italian Dramatic Club in Pawtucket, an enthusiastic hunter on trips to Prudence Island and cherished his peaceful time in Florida.
PAWTUCKET - Roland Benjamin, 91, of Pawtucket, died Friday at the Briarcliff Manor. He was the husband of Beatrice (Patenaude) Benjamin. Born in Pawtucket and a resident of the city since 1976, he was the son of the late Edward and Lorina (Grenier) Benjamin.
He was employed as a warehouse man for 30 years at Electric Boat in Quonset Point. He was a communicant of St. Cecilia Church in Pawtucket. During WWII, he served in the U.S. Navy in the submarine division.
Celine M. Girouard
BRISTOL - Celine M. Girouard, 92, died Friay at St. Elizabeth Home in Bristol. She was the beloved wife of the late Edmond Girouard. Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Adelard and Aglae (Poulin) Tetreault, she had resided in Warren since 1983 and previously in Pawtucket. Prior to retirement in 1983, she had been employed for 40 years at R.I. Textile and other local braid shops.
Raymond E. Dube
SOUTH ATTLEBORO - Raymond E. Dube, 88, passed October 30, 2010 at the Madonna Manor Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Gertrude (Corneau) Dube. They have been married for 17 years.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Joseph E. and Naomi S.(Angers) Dube.
He had been employed by the Foxboro Company for many years retiring in 1985
Besides his wife he is survived by a niece, Rhonda Jewitt and he became a beloved member of Gertrude's family.He was the brother of the late Blanche Viens.
George P. Anderson

PAWTUCKET - George P. Anderson, 84, of Pawtucket has passed away. He was the son of the late Gustavus A. and Margit (Johannesen) Anderson, the brother of the late Ralph A. Anderson, and the husband of the late Mabel Mason Anderson. He is survived by two children, Jon M. Anderson and Jane L. Anderson, both of Pawtucket, and a cousin, Sally Foss, of Columbia, New Hampshire.
Dorothy R. Giannini
NORTH PROVIDENCE Dorothy R. Giannini, 85, formerly of North Providence, died Thursday, October 28, 2010. She was the wife of the late Charles Giannini.
Mrs. Giannini was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Romeo and Marion Bourque. She worked for the former Fram Corporation for many years.
Mrs. Giannini is survived by her three sons, Charles Giannini, Raymond Giannini and Roger Giannini. She also leaves her brother Richard Bourque, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was the sister of the late Roger Bourque.
Tracey Ann DeLauder
PAWTUCKET - Tracey Ann Delauder, 42, of Goff Avenue died Thursday at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island.
Born in Attleboro, Ma, she was the daughter of Myra Richards of Lady Lake, FL and the late Wesley DeLauder.
Surviving besides her mother she leaves a long time companion, Daniel Mooney also a paternal Grandmother, Florence DeLauder of Pawtucket and several Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews. Glenn R. Cunningham
Glenn R. Cunningham, 70, of Heroux Blvd., died Sunday in the St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. He was the beloved husband of Priscilla (Lugn) Cunningham.
Born in Pawtucket he was the son of the late Samuel and Lenna (Atwell) Cunningham. He was raised in Nova Scotia returning to Cumberland at the age of six. and resided in Cumberland for the rest of his life.
Raymond A. Valentine
East Providence - Raymond A. Valentine, 85, of Irving Avenue and formerly of Arlington Drive, Lincoln died Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Linn Health Care Center, East Providence. He was the beloved husband of Janice (Harrop) Valentine.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Andrew E. and Florence (Reddington) Valentine, he had lived in Lincoln for 32 years before moving to East Providence 25 years ago.
Frances G. Rochette
CENTRAL FALLS - Frances G. â€śFranâ€ť Rochette, 77, of Washington Street, Central Falls, died Sunday at the Memorial Hospital of RI, Pawtucket.
Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Alphonse and Blanche (Mouillierat)Rochette.
A graduate of Notre Dame High School, she was a member of the Notre Dame Crusaders Marching Band, performed in many local musicals and was a former member of the Notre Dame Church Choir. In her free time she enjoyed playing the piano, drawing and painting.
John P. Lubera
PAWTUCKET- John P. Lubera Sr. 87, formerly of Roosevelt Avenue passed away at the VA Medical Center in Providence Monday October 25, 2010. He was the beloved husband of the late Jennie (Cordeau) Lubera.
Born in Fall River he was a son of the late Michael and Catherine (Strycharz) Lubera he was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket.
Before retiring he was employed as a Truck Driver for the former B. J. Kirk Transportation Co. of Pawtucket for many years. He was a Member of the Teamsters Local #251.
Mary T. Dill
PAWTUCKET - Mary T. (Pise) Dill, 86, of Pawtucket passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2010. She was the wife of the late Frank A. Dill.
Born in Central Falls she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Morietho) Pise. She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Silva of Georgia; a son, Dennis Dill of California; a brother, Frederick Pise of Warren; four grandchildren, Cory Silva of Texas, Derek Silva of Pawtucket, Alison Dill and Derrick Dill both of California and a great granddaughter, Caydence Silva of Texas.
PAWTUCKET: Amalia Marques, 81, passed away in her grand-daughter's arms and surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, October 26th.
She is survived by her husband, Armindo; her son Luis, her daughters Maria and Lourdes; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind four brothers and a sister.
Amalia was born in Portugal, lived and worked most of her life in Pawtucket. She loved her family and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She will be missed and forever loved.
Fanny Judith Alzate
CENTRAL FALLS: Fanny Judith Alzate, 66, passed October 26th 2010 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Medellin, Colombia, the daughter of the late Horacio and Pacifica (Monsalve) Alzate.
Fanny was a well-known seamstress in the Hispanic community and also a proud Mary Kay representative for over 20 years. She is survived by her four children, Mauricio, Diego, Marcela and Juan David Garces, ten grandchildren, a great grandson and five siblings, Julio, Hernando, Ramon, Nora and Socorro Alzate, all of Colombia.
Mafalda Mendes Barros
CENTRAL FALLS - Mafalda Mendes Barros, age 69, of Cross St., died at home Saturday morning, Oct. 23, 2010. She was the wife of Daniel Conceicao Barros.
Born June 10, 1941, in Praia, Cape Verde Islands, she was a daughter of the late Teofelo Correia Mendes and Maria Dias.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Alexandrina, Danielson, Auxilio, Helder, Jaime G., Arthur J., Paulo C., Justilino, and Maria Conceicao; 27 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Carlos Alberto.
Jeanne H. Godin
CENTRAL FALLS. Jeanne H. Godin, 85, formerly of Washington Street, passed into eternal life on Sunday at the Ballou Home in Woonsocket after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Victor E. Godin.
