LAKEWOOD, CA - Francis V. Quinn, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away July 7, 2011. He leaves 3 children, 1 sister, 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 niece and 2 nephews.
John J. Gawlik
PAWTUCKET- John J. Gawlik 85, passed away Monday August 1, 2011 at Epoch on Blackstone Boulevard. He was the beloved husband of Stella B. (Dzierzyc) Gawlik.
Born in Blackstone, MA he was a son of the late John F. and Victoria M. (Maslon) Gawlik. He was a life long resident of Pawtucket.
Before retiring he was employed as a Machinist for the former G.T. Schjeldahl Co.
Joseph B. Ferreira
CUMBERLAND - Joseph B. Ferreira, 87 of Meeting Street passed away Monday in Memorial Hospital, Pawtucket. He was the husband of Mary C. (Rodrigues) Ferreira.
Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Antonio and Francisca Ferreira. He resided in Cumberland for the past 61 years.
He was employed by General Motors formerly of Framingham for over 25 years until his retirement.
He was a WW II, US Navy Veteran.
Roxanne M. Metivier
CUMBERLAND - Roxanne M. Metivier, 36, passed on July 30th from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of Paulette (Turgeon) Robertson and Harold Metivier.
Roxanne was a self-employed animal groomer and was known as a dedicated animal lover.
Joseph A. Keough, Sr.
TAMARAC, FL - Joseph Keough Sr, 72, formerly of Warwick, passed away Friday, July 29, 2011 at Kindred Hospital in Fort Lauderdale. Born in Pawtucket, he was the beloved son of the late Mark and Nancy (Hughes) Keough.
PAWTUCKET - Wanda Moskwa 64, of Evergreen Street passed away Friday July 29, 2011 at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital after a courageous 10 year battle with cancer. orn in Pawtucket she was a beloved daughter of Wanda (Jastrzebska) Moskwa of awtucket and the late Walter T. Moskwa. She was a life long resident of Pawtucket.
Wanda was a Volunteer for 35 years at the Pawtucket Memorial Hospital Gift Shop.

PAWTUCKET. Dora Heredia, 73, formerly of Englewood Ave. passed away Friday at Pawtucket Health Center after an illness. Born in Ponce, PR a daughter of the late Teodoro Heredia and Trinidad Sambolin. She moved to RI 7 years ago and settled in Pawtucket. She leaves 4 daughters, Marilyn Diaz her care-giver, Ramona Muniz, Dora Hilda Heredia and Wanda Muniz; 2 sons, Marco and Luis Muniz. She also leaves 3 Brothers and 2 sister. She was the grandmother of more than 40 and a great grandmother of numerous children.
Edmond A. Tetreault, Jr.
PAWTUCKET - Edmond A. "Eddie" "Brother" Tetreault, Jr., 68 of Pawtucket died on Wednesday at Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island in Providence. Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Edmond A., Sr. and Yvonne B. (Berthiaume) Tetreault, he had resided in Pawtucket since 1978. He was a former communicant of Sacred Heart Church.
Survivors are three sisters: Rita Lanoue of Central Falls, Lucie (Robert) Holland of Pawtucket and Claire (Harold) Hague of Lincoln and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother-in-law of the late Normand Lanoue.
Betty C. Shaw
SEEKONK, MA - Betty C. Shaw, 84, of Seekonk, MA died peacefully at Blue Hills Alzheimer's Care Center in Stoughton, MA on Wednesday, July 27. She was the wife of the late Harry E. Shaw. Born in Pawtucket, she was educated in East Pawtucket Schools. She was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church in Seekonk and enjoyed gardening & dancing. Betty was a receiver for Ann & Hope in Seekonk before retiring at age 62.
Theresa M. Procter
PAWTUCKET - Theresa "Terri" Madeline (Hanson) Procter, 74, passed away Friday, July 29, 2011 at the New Bedford Rehabilitation Hospital, after a prolonged illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Procter.

PAWTUCKET - Patti Joanne Rebello, 49, of Park Street, entered into eternal rest on Monday. She was born in Pawtucket, a daughter of Janet (Blake) Frechette and the late Charles Frechette. She lived most of her life in Pawtucket.
Patti was employed as a cashier at Mobile-Exxon in So. Attleboro. Besides her mother, she leaves 2 daughters, Amie Frechette and Stephanie Rebello, 2 sisters, Linda Sousa and Christine Frechette and 2 brothers, Charles and Michael Frechette. She was the Grandmother of Ashley Salvas and Angelina Pierini.
Edward J. Howe
NORTON, MA - Edward J. Howe, 74, of Dean Street, Norton, died on Monday at his residence.
He was the husband of Carol M. (Perry) Howe.
Born in Pawtucket on March 29, 1937, he was a son of the late Joseph J. and Mary (McGill) Howe. Mr. Howe resided in Norton for the past 37 years having moved there from Attleboro.
He was employed as a meat cutter for the former Almacs Supermarket at various locations for several years until an injury ended his career in 1974.
While employed, Mr. Howe was a steward of the Teamster's Union.
Mildred C. Hartley
LINCOLN - Mildred C. (Gould) Hartley, 88, passed July 26th.
She lived her life right to the very end of it. Her resilient, positive spirit and her sense of humor stayed with her.
She was devoted, loving and generous to her family and they, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, returned that love and devotion in her final hours. She was the wife of the late David Hartley.
Mildred was the daughter of the late Clare A. and Gertrude (Wilding) Gould.
Modesta Marin Gil
PAWTUCKET - Modesta Marin Gil 91, of Palm Bay FL, passed July 23rd. She was the wife of the late Sixto Marin. They were married 61 years.
Born in Santiago de Veraguas, Panama. She resided in the United States since 1982.
Everett R. Williams
LINCOLN - Everett R. Williams 93, of Lincoln, beloved husband of Dorothy Hoyt, passed peacefully Sunday, July 24th at Grandview Center, Cumberland.
He was the son of the late Albert and Anna (Kenworthy) Williams.
Mr. Williams was a toolmaker at Electric Boat in Quonset Point at the time of his retirement in 1985.
He was a passionate trout fisherman and enjoyed the peace and quiet he found in small streams in wooded areas. He was also an avid gardener.
He was a past master and a lifetime member of E.L. Freeman Lodge, now Jenks Lodge #24.
Ronald J. LaBree, Sr.
PAWTUCKET - Ronald "Gov" J. LaBree, Sr., 62, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Joanne (Batista) LaBree for forty-four years. Born in Attleboro, a son of the late Francis W. and Dorothy (LeBrun) LaBree, he resided in South Attleboro before moving to Pawtucket in 1975. He was a member of the Laborers Union Local 271. A devoted grandfather, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending their activities.
Maria C. DaGraca
PAWTUCKET - Maria C. DaCosta) DaGraca, 77, of Pawtucket died July 25, 2011. She was the wife of Antonio J. DaGraca. She was born in Brava, Cape Verde a daughter of the late Alfredo and Adelia (Barros) DaCosta. She came to this country 50 years ago settling in Central Falls.
WEST WARWICK - Marie Batalon, 82, of Main Street, W. Warwick, died peacefully and surrounded by loving grandchildren Scott, Amber, Elizabeth, and Sandra, on July 23, 2011 at West View Care Center in W. Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Norman F. Batalon who predeceased her.
She was born in Central Falls, RI on January 30, 1929 the loving daughter of Ovilda and Clara (Roy) Boyer. She had attended Central Falls Public Schools.
Until her retirement many years ago, Marie had been an assembler for the Hillsinger Corp. in Plainville.
Arthur Tattersall, Jr.
PAWTUCKET - Arthur Tattersall, Jr., 85 of Pawtucket died Monday at the Pawtucket Health Center. He was the husband of Jean (Drummond) Tattersall. Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Arthur, Sr. and Grace (Sidebottom) Tattersall, he had been a lifelong resident of Pawtucket.
He was a US NAVY veteran of WWII and was employed for many years as the Regional Sales representative for Nissan Motors. He was a Sports Race Car driver.
