Mary G. Johnson
BELL, FL - Mary G. (Murphy) Johnson 88, formerly of Pawtucket, died on March 27, in Bell, FL. Her husband Waldo "Swede" Johnson predeceased her.
Born in Pawtucket she is survived by a daughter, Christine J. Philman of Bell, FL and a son Richard "Rick" Johnson of Narragansett, RI.
She was a graduate of Pawtucket East HS and Katherine Gibbs Business School and pursued a life long accounting career. A memorial service will be held at the Florida National Cemetery at a later date.
Martin J. Bailey
PAWTUCKET - Martin J. "Marty" Bailey 47, passed unexpectedly on May 1st. He was the longtime companion of Brenda O'Brien.
He was the son of the late Martin J and Joan (Dufresne) Bailey.
Marty was an automobile enthusiast, and loved music.
Besides his companion, he is survived by 7 siblings, Kimberly, Lisa, Melissa, Raymond and Bradford Bailey and Laurie Bailey Keough.
Lorraine M. Turcotte
PAWTUCKET - Lorraine M. Turcotte 83, of Burns Manor Carnation Street passed away Sunday May 1, 2011. She was the former wife of the late Robert A. Turcotte.
Born in Bristol a daughter of the late Wilfred and Hortense (Poirier) Cordeau and a stepdaughter of the late Stanley Ogozalek. She was a life long resident of Pawtucket.
Before retiring in 1990 she was employed as a Machine Operator for General Findings of North Attleboro for 14 years.
Donald P. Lachance Sr.
PAWTUCKET - Donald P. Lachance Sr., 76, passed April 30th at home with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Elaine (Ferland) Lachance.
Donald was the son of the late Felix and Doris (Papineau) Lachance.
He had been employed by New England Paper Tube for over 50 years.
CENTRAL FALLS - Josephine (Abraham) McLaughlin, 87, who was also known as Sue or Josie, died Friday, April 28, 2011 at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, Pawtucket surrounded by her loving family and friends.
A lifelong resident of Central Falls, she was one of fifteen children of the late Moses and Annie (Shabo) Abraham. She was politically active in Central Falls.
She was a member of St. Ephraim's Syriac Orthodox Church in Central Falls where she had been a member of the Ladies Society.
PAWTUCKET - Antonio Henriques, 89 of Rock Avenue, Pawtucket passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Belmira (Machado) Henriques.
Born in Sandomil-Seia, Portugal, he was the son of the late Joao and Emilia (de Jesus) Henriques.
He came to this country in 1976 settling in Pawtucket.
Mr. Henriques was employed as a maintenance mechanic for the Conrad Jarvis Co. of Pawtucket for 20 years, retiring in 1990.
He was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church.
PAWTUCKET - Matthew Dusza, 86, loving husband of Rita Majika Dusza for 26yrs, was called home April 19, 2011. He is predeceased by his parents John and Bertha Dusza, his 1st wife Alice Dusza and his brothers John, Stanley, Steven, Walter, Martin and Joseph.
He served in WWII in the US Army. He was employed for 40 years by Pawtucket Fasteners. He leaves his nieces and nephews.
Roland J. Lamarre
PAWTUCKET - Roland J. Lamarre, 91, passed away Friday, April 29, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Gloria Y. (LaPlante) Lamarre for 60 years.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Theodore and Theodora E. (Noiseaux) Lamarre. Roland was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, serving four years in the South Pacific. He was a member of the Pawtucket Fire Department for 28 years before retiring as Battalion Chief in 1974. He then became Deputy State Fire Marshall at the State Fire Marshalls Office until 1980.
Claire E. Lallier
PAWTUCKET - Claire E. (Smith) Lallier, 84, of Pawtucket died Wednesday at Miriam Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Edward H. Lallier.
Born in Pawtucket and a lifelong resident of the city, she was a daughter of the late Albert J. and Clara E. (Rushlow) Smith. Mrs. Lallier worked as an Assembler for the Craft Inc. of Attleboro for several years and then for the Bruce Diamond Corporation also of Attleboro until her retirement.
Blanche J. Noreau
LINCOLN - Blanche J. (Malo) Noreau, 90, formerly of Vista Drive, Lincoln died Friday, April 29, 2011 at Grandview Center, Cumberland. She was the wife of the late J. Charles Noreau, Sr.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Arthur F. and Hermina (Bourgeois) Malo, she had lived in Central Falls and Pawtucket before moving to Lincoln 56 years ago.
Mrs. Noreau was an assembler for several jewelry companies. She was a former member of the Lincoln Manor Tenants Association.
Ernest B. Marot
PAWTUCKET - Ernest B. Marot, 82, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Rita F. (Sevigny) Marot for 62 years. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Armand J. and Alice (Cote) Marot.
Russell C. Newsham
PAWTUCKET - Russell C. Newsham, 86 died Monday at Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket. He was the husband of the late Theresa F. (La Bare) Newsham. Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Albert and Mary (St. Jean) Newsham. He was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket.
Prior to his retirement in 1999, Russell was a Jewelry Foreman for McConnell & Carpenter, Inc. in Pawtucket. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a lifelong member of the J.K. Club and the Jacques Cartier Club in Pawtucket.
Allan N. Young Sr.
NORTH PROVIDENCE - Allan N. Young Sr., 68, of North Providence died April 26, 2011. He was the husband of Carol A. (Jarvis) Young. He was born in Littleton, NH a son of the late Paul G. and Lela (Blodgett) Young. He was employed by General Cable Co. of Pawtucket for 22 years until his retirement. He was a 30 year member of Smithfield Ave. Congregational Church, U.S. Navy Veteran and enjoyed woodworking.

Zygmunta T. Jadach-Iwanycky
PAWTUCKET- Zygmunta T. Jadach-Iwanycky 84, of Ellis Avenue Warren and formerly of Pawtucket passed away Monday April 25, 2011 at the Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late Frederick J. Jadach and the late Michael S. Iwanycky.
Born in Pawtucket she was a daughter of the late Wawrzyniec and Bronislawa (Herchel) Herchel. She lived in Warren for the past 4 years and was formerly of Burns Manor in Pawtucket.
Before retiring she was employed as a Secretary at the main office of Citizens Bank for many years.
CENTRAL FALLS - Josefa Gutierrez, 73, of Foundry St. Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday. She was the wife of the late Jose Gutierrez.
She was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, a daughter of the late Lucas and Angela Galan and migrated to the US in 1962. She had been employed as an assembler at Hasbro for several years.
She leaves 3 daughters, Judy Morin, Esther Gutierrez and Ruth Brown and a son German Gutierrez. She also leaves 5 Granddaughters and several brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews in Colombia.
WOONSOCKET - His funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:45 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Edward Church, Weeden St., Pawtucket. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-8 pm.
