FLORIDA - Ilse Kubiak, 90, of Lake Worth passed away on October 20, 2011 under the care of Hospice of Palm Beach County in Atlantis. She was born and raised in Seekonk, Massachusetts moving to this area in 1985 from Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
Ilse was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church of Lake Worth. where she was a member of the Women of Our Savior. She was preceded in death by her husband Leon J. Kubiak, Sr.
PAWTUCKET - Aline Cloutier 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 18, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul A. Cloutier.
She is survived by her son David E. Cloutier and his wife Connie formerly of Seekonk, granddaughter Dina Cloutier, grandson David P. Cloutier and his wife Alyssa and great-grandson Cameron.
Her funeral was held Friday October 21, 2011.
Dr. Steven Sefla
LINCOLN - Dr. Steven Sefla, 91, of Lincoln, died Tuesday at home. He was the loving husband of Rita (Bequir) Sefla. They had been married 55 years.
Born in Korca Albania, he was a son of the late Abraham and Elka (Kocibelli) Sefla. He attended Convite de National Italy, University of Bologna Italy School of Medicine, University of Vienna Austria School of Medicine, as well as the New York Chiropractic Institute. Dr. Sefla practiced in private practice until his retirement in 1993.
Emilia J. Botelho
LINCOLN - Emilia J. (Prata) Botelho, 81, of Linda Street died Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Jack Botelho.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Manuel and Julia (Tavares) Prata, she had lived in Lincoln for the past 30 years.
Mrs. Botelho was a sales representative for Sears, Roebuck & Company in Providence. She had also worked at Korb's Bakery, Pawtucket and as a cashier in the cafeteria for the Lincoln School Department and St Raphael's Academy, Pawtucket.
Honorato Cruz Santos
CUMBERLAND - Honorato Cruz Santos, 84, of Titus Street, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2011 in the Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Lucinda (Matias) Santos.
Born in Poutena, Portugal, he was the son of the late David and Aurora (dosSantos) Cruz. He came to this country in 1961, settling in Cumberland.
Mr. Santos was employed as a construction worker for JH Lynch Company for 10 years, and previously Cruz Construction Company for 25 years, retiring in 1986.
LINCOLN - Norman Marceau, 82, passed suddenly on October 18th. He was the husband of the late Germaine (Fournier) Marceau for 55 years.
Born in Central Falls, the son of the late Alverez and Felixina (Lemoine) Marceau.
Norman had been employed by the Whittet-Higgins Company for many years. He was a member of the Cumberland- Lincoln Chorus and St. Jude Church Choir for 20 years and enjoyed attending Lincoln sporting events with family and friends.
PAWTUCKET - Regina Buteau, 89, of Dewey Ave, passed October 18th with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Roger Buteau.
Born in Albion, a daughter of the late Charles and Sarah (Gagne) Emond.
She had dedicated her life to her family.
Paul C. Knowlton
FLORIDA - Paul C. Knowlton 64, of Boynton Beach FL, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away on Sunday, October 16. A son of Marshal and Marie Knowlton. Besides his mother, he leaves behind his wife Kathleen Manning, a daughter, Amanda, a son, Tyler, two sisters, Marsha Jackson and Marjorie Landry and several nieces and nephews. Services were private.
Earl F. Dearman Jr.
PAWTUCKET - Earl F. Dearman Jr., 86, passed away Monday morning, October 17th, 2011 at Durgin Pines in Kittery, Maine. Earl, a lifelong resident of Pawtucket, R.I., moved to Maine in the spring of 2008.
Theresa G. Faford
PAWTUCKET - Theresa G. (Dery) Faford, 87, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 17, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald J. Faford, Sr.
Born in Northampton, MA, a daughter of the late Hubert A. and Marie (Beaudoin) Dery, she resided in Pawtucket most of her life. Terry worked and volunteered for the Little Sisters of the Poor for many years. She was a member of the Jeanne Jugan Choir and a former member of the Music Ministry at Our Lady of Consolation Church. Terry was a forty-five year member of the Keno Girls.
Grace Mills Perkins
PROVIDENCE - Grace Mills Perkins, formerly of Pawtucket, RI died on October 15, 2011 at the Tockwotton Home in Providence, RI. Grace was born in Watertown, Massachusetts, on February 10, 1923, and was educated at the Academy of Notre Dame in Tyngsboro, MA. Her parents Grace L. (O'Keefe) and Leo Herlihy predeceased her. She is also predeceased by her husband, William T Perkins, a son, William A. Mills, and stepson William J. Perkins and 3 siblings.
PAWTUCKET - Noella Laferriere, age 71, of Pawtucket, passed peacefully surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the (late) Richard Laferriere. Born November 20, 1939, in Manville, she was the daughter of the late) Prospere and Alida (Lapierre) Lariviere.
James Michael Themis
REHOBOTH, MA - James Michael Themis of Rehoboth, MA, passed away on October 14, 2011. At the young age of 69, he leaves his wife, Audrey, son James Jr. and Anthony, Darlene and Katrina Damiani. He was the son of the late Michael V. Themis of Famugusta, Cyprus.
Born and raised in Pawtucket, RI, James served his country proud from 1960-1964 in the USAF. When he returned, he met his loving wife, Audrey and attended the University of Rhode Island.
Doris M. Miron
Doris M. Miron, 85, of Belmont Street, Pawtucket died Friday, October 14, 2011.
She was the wife of the late Thomas H. Miron.
Mrs. Miron was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Leo T. and Emma (Fontaine) McKenna. She was a factory worker in Pawtucket for many years.
Mrs. Miron is survived by her son, Thomas L. Miron of Pawtucket. She was the sister of the late Leo McKenna.
Doris C. LeMay
SMITHFIELD - Doris "Dot" C. LeMay, 71, of Smithfield, formerly of Central Falls, died Friday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the wife of Wilfred E. LeMay Jr. and on November 11th they would have been married 50 years. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Alphonse "Buster" and Juliette (Picard) Robichaud. Mrs. LeMay was employed as a school bus driver for the Town of Cumberland until her retirement in 2002.
She was an avid New England Patriots fan.
William F. Harty Jr
PAWTUCKET - William F. Harty Jr, 80, of Naushon Road, Pawtucket died Friday, October 14, 2011.
He was the husband of Barbara (Wall) Harty. They were married 56 years.
Mr. Harty was born in Pawtucket the son of the late William F. Harty Sr and
Catherine A. (Shannon) Harty.
He was a graduate of St. Raphael Academy, Pawtucket and Bryant College.
Mr. Harty was the President of Harty Realty and the HOD Corporation and Chairman of the Pawtucket Redevelopment Association. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard.
Mildred A. Hyde
Lincoln - Mildred A. Hyde of Smithfield Avenue and formerly of Cobble Hill Road died Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Miriam Hospital, Providence.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late William K. and Lena G. (Harris) Hyde, she had lived in Lincoln for most of her life.
Miss Hyde worked for the Sun Oil Company, Providence for 29 years retiring in 1979.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Elizabeth K. Hyde and Robert W. Hyde.
Irene F. Aubin
FALL RIVER - Irene F. Aubin, 96 of Fall River died Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the Holiday Nursing Home in Manville. She was the wife of the late Henri L. Aubin. Born in Fall River she was the daughter of the late Albert and Georgeanna (Couture) Bernier. She lived most of her life in Pawtucket.
Irene was a long time communicant of St. John the Baptist Church.
She is survived by four sons, Donald Aubin of Seekonk MA, Robert Aubin of Attleboro, MA,Maurice Aubin of Lincoln, and Norman Aubin of Vermont; a daughter, Rachelle
