PAWTUCKET - Rosemary "Bud" McDermott died Friday, March 25, 2011 peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John E. Oâ€™Neil Jr. and Rosemary (McCann) Oâ€™Neil. She was the wife of fifty two years to John J. McDermott.
Mrs. McDermott was a cum laude graduate of Bryant University with a degree in Business Education.
PAWTUCKET - Eliseu Silveira, 82, of Pawtucket died Thursday at Oak Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Robert L. Desorcy
PAWTUCKET: Robert L. Desorcy 74, passed March 26th. He was the husband of Helen (Gauthier) Desorcy
Born in Central Falls he was the son of the late Oscar and Solange Desorcy.
He had been as a carpenter for over 50 years
Robert served in the US Navy for six years.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Robert Gauthier of Pawtucket and Raymond Gauthier of Central Falls. He was the brother of the late Normand Desorcy.

SCOTTSBORO, AL - Estelle E. (Cayer) Rowse, 91, formerly of Mendon Ave., passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2011 in Scottsboro, Alabama. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank J. Rowse, Jr.
Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Leonidas A. and Eva (Tremblay) Cayer. Estelle resided in Pawtucket most of her life, she resided in Attleboro, Massachusetts for three years before moving to Scottsboro in 2008.
Elizabeth A. Rinaldi
LINCOLN - Elizabeth A. (Armfield) Rinaldi, 95, of Franklin Street, died Wednesday, March 23, at Oakland Grove Health Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Arthur F. Rinaldi.
Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late James M. and Elsie (Clegg) Armfield. She had lived in Pawtucket and Lincoln for the past thirty-three years.
Mrs. Rinaldi was the owner of Donna's Market in Pawtucket for thirty years, and had also worked as a receptionist at the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. She was a member of Christ Church, Lincoln.
Lucille I. Pouliot
ATTLEBORO- Lucille I. (Doucette) Pouliot, 80, of Attleboro, died Sunday March 20, 2011 at home with her family.
She was the wife of the late Arthur J. Pouliot.
She was born in Central Falls RI, a daughter of the late George H. & Marie Reine (Blouin) Doucette.
Lucille was a Hairdresser and a Certified Nurses Aide, for many years.
She has lived in Attleboro for 21 years coming from Pawtucket and also Oxnard California.
Mrs. Pouliot had volunteered at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, she loved to travel, and go camping.
Blanche M. Lacourse
SEEKONK - Blanche M. Lacourse, 91, formerly of Ricard St. Passed away Friday at Canterbury Woods Assisted Living in Attleboro after a short illness. She was the wife of Gerard J. Lacourse Sr. and was married for 69 years.
She was born in Central Falls a daughter of the late Albert and Anna (Reiniche) Lemay and had lived in Seekonk most of her life. She had been employed in the office at the Former Foxboro Company for several years.
LINCOLN - Germaine Marceau, 78, passed March 25th with her loving family by her side, she was the wife of Norman Marceau, they have been married for 57 years.
Born in Rouses Point, NY, the daughter of the late Joseph and Lorette (Landry) Fournier.
She had been employed by RIARC in Human Services for many years.
Theodore H. Charron
ATTLEBORO - Theodore H. Charron, 84, of Morse Avenue, Attleboro, a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 in the Good Samaritan Medical Center, Brockton. He was the beloved husband of Marie M.(Plante) Charron.
Jeanne C. Lizotte
CENTRAL FALLS - Jeanne C. Lizotte, 83 of the Wilfred Manor in Central Falls died on Thursday at Harris Home Care North. She was the wife of the late Roland H. Lizotte. Born in Central Falls and a lifelong resident of the city, she was the daughter of the late Phydime and Anna (Levesque) Hemond.
She was a communicant of St. Matthew Church (now Holy Spirit Catholic Community). Prior to retirement, she had been employed as a waitress at Stanley's Restaurant in Central Falls and previously as a quality inspector at Hasbro in Pawtucket.
Anna E. Choiniere
PAWTUCKET - Anna E. (Quinn) Choiniere, 83, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond N. Choiniere for 54 years.
Genevieve H. Pupecki
WARWICK - Genevieve H. Pupecki 88, of Lemac Street passed away Monday March 21, 2011 at Kent Hospital.
Born in Providence she was a daughter of the late Stanislaw and Helena (Buznacka) Pupecki. She lived in Warwick for the past 10 years and was formerly of Cranston.
She was a volunteer at Meals On Wheels of Cranston and was a member of the Johnston Senior Center.
She leaves 1 loving sister Sophie "Phyllis" Muro of Warwick and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Stanley, Joseph and Walter Pupecki.
Charlotte C. Ethier
LINCOLN - Charlotte C. Ethier, 85, of Lincoln, died Tuesday at The Holiday Retirement Center surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Raymond O. Ethier Sr.
Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Gertrude (St. Louis) Alix.
Ernest J. Jacques
ALBION - Ernest J. "Ernie" Jacques, 78, of School St., Albion, died Tuesday evening at The Holiday in Manville. He was the loving husband of Lillian (Henault) Jacques.
A lifelong resident of Albion, he was a son of the late Henry and Rosilda Jacques.
Mr. Jacques served in the Rhode Island National Guard for over 30 years. He was employed by American Tourister, Madison Industries, and BJ's Wholesale Stores.
Joao F. DaRocha
PAWTUCKET - Joao F. DaRocha, 83, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2011 surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. DaRocha was born in St. Miguel, Azores, the son of the late Joao and Maria Isabel (Machado) DaRocha and the husband of the late Olinda E. (Costa) DaRocha.
He was a press operator at Cass Jewelry in North Providence for many years.
CUMBERLAND - Manuel Correia, 80, of Curran Road, passed away Tuesday in the Home and Hospice Care of RI Inpatient Unit, Providence. He was the husband of the late Fernanda (DeSousa) Goncalves Correia.
Born in Darei, Mangualde, Portugal he was the son of the late Leonido and Maria Correia. He came to this country in 1969 settling in Cumberland.
He was employed by the former American Insulated Wire of South Attleboro for 20 years until his retirement.
He was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Cumberland.
Edward A. Parent
CUMBERLAND - Edward A. Parent, 76, from One Mendon Road, passed away Monday at home. He was the husband of Helen (Joly) Parent.
Born in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Tom and Ida (Jacques) Parent. He resided in Central Falls for the past 8 years, previously residing in Cumberland and Reno, Nevada.
Mr. Parent was a manager of Silver State Barricade and Sign for many years until retirement. After retirement he was employed as a School Bus Aid for Laidlaw and Durham Bus Services for over 10 years.
PAWTUCKET - Peter Orloff, 92 of Pawtucket died Monday at the Pawtucket Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center. He is the husband of Therese Orloff. Born in Pawtucket, Peter is the son of the late Fred and Julia (Borchov) Orloff.
He was a WWII Army Veteran serving in Rome-Arno, North Apennines and PO Valley. He was the recipient of the American Theater Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, EAMET Campaign Medal with three Bronze Service Stars and the Bronze Star Medal.
Newman A. Carr Jr.
CUMBERLAND - Newman A. Carr Jr., 66, formerly of Cumberland, passed away Sunday in the Hebert Nursing Center, Smithfield after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Newman and Dorothy (Mann) Carr.
He was a
Class of 1962, Cumberland High School graduate, and was a member of the state champion baseball team.
After high school, Mr. Carr served during Vietnam in the United States National Guard, serving in the 115th Military Police Unit from 1968 to 1969.
