Flavia A. DaCosta
PAWTUCKET - Flavia A. (Barros) DaCosta, 79, of John Street, passed away Tuesday at Miriam Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Antonio DaCosta.
Born in Valley Falls, she was the daughter of the late Leonel and Margarida (Campos)Barros. She resided in Pawtucket for many years.
She was employed as a Sample Supervisor for Hasbro Inc. of Pawtucket for 15 years.
She was a communicant of St. Mary Church, Pawtucket.
Florence R. DeLauder
CUMBERLAND - Florence R. DeLauder, 84, of 300 Broadway, passed away Monday at home.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Philias and Rose (Mercier) Girouard. She was a life-long Pawtucket resident.
Mrs. DeLauder was a Assistant Special Education Teacher, for the Fallon School of Pawtucket for 20 years, retiring in 1990.
She was a communicant of Blessed Pope John Paul II Parish of Pawtucket.

SOUTH ATTLEBORO - Jane M. (Yarbrough) Joachim, 90, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred J. Joachim. Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Walter and Yvonne (Lareau) Yarbrough, she resided in North Stonington, Connecticut before moving to South Attleboro over thirty-five years ago. Jane enjoyed dancing and bowling.
She leaves a son, Gary Joachim and his wife Gloria in Colorado; a granddaughter, Emily Joachim in Colorado; a sister, Doris Soucy of Cumberland, RI and nieces and nephews.
Normand J. Fortier
PAWTUCKET - Normand J. Fortier, 90, passed away Monday, September 12, 2011. He was the husband of the late Lillian (Fournier), Alice (Gagnon) and Edna(Butler) Fortier. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Odais and Virginia Fortier.
Mr. Fortier was an Army Veteran serving during WWII and was a Master Plumber for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Central Falls V.F.W. and an avid golf and card player. He was also a member of pool and bowling leagues.
Paul J.M. Healey
WARREN - Paul J.M. Healey, 79, of Emery Road in Warren, died peacefully Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011, at Miriam Hospital surrounded by his family. For 50 years, he was the beloved husband of the late Nancy Jane (Ogg) Healey. Paul now joins his eternal sweetheart in Heaven.

LINCOLN - Eleanor F. Read, 92, of Lincoln, died August 28th at The Holiday. She was the wife of the late Squire Read.
Born in Bridgeport CT, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Fearn ( Parker)Milligan. Her son Alfred Read of Central Falls, her daughter Meredyth F. Collemer of Barrington, 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren survive her. She was the sister of the late Dorothy Madden. Her funeral and burial are private. Guestbook at

PAWTUCKET - Joseph "Doug" D. Durand, 63, of 156 Bear Hill Road, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away Friday at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of Doris (Gosselin) Durand.
Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Theodore and Elizabeth (Brown) Durand. He resided in Cumberland for the past 11 years, previously residing in Pawtucket.
Michael Joseph Patrick Kenny
PAWTUCKET - Michael Joseph Patrick Kenny, of Pawtucket died September 10, 2011.
Mr. Kenny was the husband of Helen (Motyl) Cusick-Kenny and the late Catherine (Gunning) Kenny.
Mr. Kenny was born in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Michael J. Kenny and Mary (Brennan) Kenny. He was a teacher and principal in the Pawtucket School system for many years.

CUMBERLAND - Ameila M. Lopes, 86 of Roosevelt Road, passed Friday in Women & Infants Hopsital, Providence.
Born in Celorico Beira, Portugal. She was the daughter of the late Antonio and Albertina M. (Delgado) Lopes. She resided in Cumberland for many years, previously residing in Pawtucket after moving to this country in 1967.
Harry J. Gaumond
CUMBERLAND - Harry J. Gaumond, 92, of Philip Avenue, Cumberland passed away Saturday at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Blanche H. (Cribari) Gaumond.
Born in Shrewsbury, MA, he was the son of the late John and Eva (Wentworth) Gaumond.
Mr. Gaumond was employed as a truck driver, and was a member of the Teamsters Local 653.
He was a World War II, United States Army Air Corps veteran, serving our country from 1942 to 1946.

PAWTUCKET - Taylor, Rita Rae (Venturini) Brodeur, 67, of Magill St., Pawtucket died Saturday at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of Gilbert G. Taylor and former spouse of Richard J. Brodeur, Sr. of Pawtucket.
Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Victor J and Shirley M. (Dugas) Venturini. Rita was a lifelong resident of the city, and was employed by the City of Pawtucket for 15 years as a Crossing Guard.

LINCOLN - Dylan Joshua Cote, beloved one day old son of Melissa Walker and Joshua Cote of Lincoln, died unexpectedly Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Women & Infants Hospital, Providence.
Keith E. Davey
WEST WARWICK - Keith E. Davey, 49, of Kimberly Lane, West Warwick, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2011. He was the longtime companion of Robin Fredette.
He was born in Providence, the son of Kathleen (Wolfe) Ferrucci and the late Richard Davey. Mr. Davey was a Registered Pharmacist and General Manager of Infusion Services for Walgreens Home Care in East Providence.
Keith is survived by his son, Tyler Davey of Warwick and a brother Richard Davey of Farmington, NH.
CENTRAL FALLS - Hilda Gonsalves, 91, formerly of Madeira Avenue, passed away Thursday at Steere House Nursing and Rehabilitation in Providence. She was the wife of the late John Gonsalves Sr.
Born in Insua, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Maria Pinto. She resided in Central Falls for several years, previously residing in Valley Falls.
She leaves her son, John Gonsalves Jr. of Boston, MA.
The family would like to thank Steere House Nursing and Rehabilitation for their compassionate care of Hilda.
Gary W. Loiselle
PAWTUCKET - Gary W. Loiselle, 53 of Pawtucket died Saturday, August 27, 2011 at his home. Born in Pawtucket Gary was the son of the late Gordon Loiselle and Evelyn(Sinnett) Rummery.
Gary was a self employed Marble Master. Prior to returning to Pawtucket in 2000, he spent 10 years in Hawaii and 12 years in Oregon.
Besides his mother Gary is survived by a brother, Brian Loiselle of Massachusetts; three sisters, Donna Narciso of Westport, MA, Sharon Coyle of Cumberland and Charlene Rummery of Pawtucket, and many nieces and nephews.

BEVERLY, MA - Marion D. (Thurston) Jackson, 97, of Beverly, formerly of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, died peacefully Wednesday night September 7, 2011 at Salem Hospital with her devoted granddaughters at her side. She was the loving wife of the late Harry A. Jackson.

Born in Cumberland, a son of the late William P. and Delia (Crowley) Bailey, he had lived in North Providence for the past 56 years.
