Mary Catherine Cuddy
ATTLEBORO - Mary Catherine Cuddy, 89, of Canterbury Woods passed away on Tuesday evening, June 7, 2011 in Sturdy Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Arthur Cuddy, previous owner of Wholesale Tire in Cranson, who died in 1973 after 26 years of marriage.
Born June 21, 1921 in Providence, she was a daughter of the late James J. and Madeline (Martin) Deery.
Mary graduated from St. Xavier High School in Providence and Bryant College before working for the former Diocesan newspaper, The Providence Visitor.
Rita M. Nadeau
PAWTUCKET - Rita M. Nadeau, 84, passed on June 10, 2011. She was the wife of the late Marcel L. Nadeau.
Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Rodolphe and Edda (Tanguay) Beaudoin.
She had been employed by ITT Royal Electric for many years and had resided on John St for 70 years
She is survived by a son, Robert L. Nadeau and his wife Cheryl of Pawtucket, two grandchildren, Brian and Kevin Nadeau and four great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Albert Nadeau.

CENTRAL FALLS - Ronald Brousseau, 58, of Central Falls, died Tuesday at Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Lorraine F. (Therrien) Brousseau. Born in Central Falls, he was a son of Florence (Bourassa) Brousseau and the late Edmond Brousseau. Mr. Brousseau was employed by General Cable Co. of Lincoln for 37 years prior to his retirement. His sons, Robert J. Brousseau of Pell City, AL, and Jason A. Raymond of Carrollton, GA, his daughter Lisa A. Archambeault of Woonsocket, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 3 brothers and 2 sisters survive him.
PAWTUCKET - Aurora Silva, 81 of Cleveland Street, Pawtucket died Wednesday at Miriam Hospital in Providence. She is the wife of Renato Silva and they would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in October of this year. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Aurora is the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Gomes) DosSantos.
Aurora attended school in Portugal and immigrated to the United States in 1962 and settled in Pawtucket.
Edward F. Roach
CENTRAL FALLS - Edward F. Roach, 61, of Cleveland St. passed away on Monday at home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Mary Lou (Brett) Roach.
Mr Roach served in the US Army in Viet Nam with the Americal Division, 1967, and was wounded in 1968, receiving a Purple Heart.
Besides his wife he leaves 2 daughters, Kerri A. Roach and Kathleen "Katie" Roach; he also leaves a step-daughter, Jamie L. Guellar and a step-son, Greg S. Guellar and three Grandchildren.
Rev. Msgr. Edmond R. Levesque
WESTPORT -Rev. Msgr. Edmond R. Levesque, 82, of Westport died unexpectedly at home on Sunday, June 5, 2011.
He was born and raised in Fall River a son of the late Desire and Elise (Albert) Levesque living in Westport from 1955 - 1983, South Attleboro from 1983 - 1990, New Bedford from 1990 - 2005, and back to Westport in 2005.
Msgr. Levesque was a 1947 graduate of Msgr. Prevost High School and graduated from St. John's Seminary in Brighton, MA in 1955.
WARWICK - Carlos Rafael Mendizabal Gomez 61, died Saturday at Kent Hospital. Born in Guatemala he was the son of the late Carlos Alberto Mendizabal and Sofia Gomez and former husband of Ana Maria Mendizabal.
Mr. Gomez worked as a Tool Maker for the Automatic Machine Co. of Attleboro, MA for 35 years.
Anna E. Ducharme
PAWTUCKET - Anna E. Ducharme, 79, of Pawtucket, passed away Monday, June 06, 2011. She was the wife of Gerard Ducharme. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Leo Sr. and Anna (Simmons) Biagioni. She is survived by her loving children, Margaret Indell and her husband Kenneth of West Warwick, Dennis G. Ducharme, retired USAF, and his wife Irma of Texas and Walter R. Ducharme and his wife Renee of Cumberland and grandchildren, Keith, Scott, Kaitlyn and Nicolette Ducharme. She was also the sister of the late Phyllis A. Biagioni and Leo Biagioni Jr.
PAWTUCKET - Jeannette Cunard, 89, died on Thursday at the Rhode Island Veterans Home in Bristol. She was the wife of the late George M.Cunard.
Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Alfred Lussier and Emma (Garneau) Lussier, she had resided in Pawtucket most of her life and was a communicant of St. Mary Church.
CENTRAL FALLS - Armand Bertrand, 63, a longtime Cowden St resident, passed on June 5, 2011.
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Roger E. and Rita M. (Dube) Bertrand.
He had been employed by Hasbro of Central Falls for 12 years; he then worked for Corning Glass Works, previously GTE and Osram for 25 years.
Armand was a true sports fan cheering all the New England Teams and was also a NASCAR enthusiast. He was a member of the Forand Manor Association.
John M. McGee
PAWTUCKET - John M. McGee, a retired Lieutenant on the Pawtucket Fire Department of Pawtucket died Friday, June 3, 2011. He was the husband of Claire (Cote) McGee.
John was born in Pawtucket, the son of the late James P. McGee and Cecilia A. (Doherty) McGee. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and then served his native Pawtucket on their Fire Department where he earned the rank of Lieutenant.
Besides his wife, John is survived by his daughter, Ann-Marie McGee of Pawtucket. He was the brother of the late Raymond and James McGee.
Vincenzo M. DiIorio
PAWTUCKET - Vincenzo M. "Vincent" DiIorio 79 died Sunday at his home. He was the husband of the late Norma P. (Daley) DiIorio.
Born in Providence he was the son of the late Filippo and Antonietta (Coia) DiIorio. He moved to Pawtucket in 1955.
Frank J. Dowgiala
ATTLEBORO - Frank J. Dowgiala 70 of South Attleboro died Friday June 3rd at the Golden Living Center Attleboro after a brief illness. Born in Pawtucket he was the son of the late Frank and Veronica (Prestley) Dowgiala.
Therese A. Vincent
CENTRAL FALLS - Therese A. (Girouard) Vincent, 82, of Broad Street, passed away Sunday at home. She was the wife of the late Leo P. Vincent.
Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Napolean and Lena Girouard. She was a life long resident of Central Falls.
She was employed as a super-visor for Hasbro Inc. for over 25 years until her retirement.
She was a life-long communicant of the former Notre Dame Parish. She was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Community Seniors.
PAWTUCKET - Dean Bouvier, of 214 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket.
Mr. Bouvier was born in Providence, the son of the late Norma (Duphiney) Holmes-Traylor. He was a teller at various racetracks up and down the East Coast.
He is survived by a son Corey Robert, and his brothers and sisters Donna Calabro, Susan Lewis, Sharon Simas, David Traylor, Charles Traylor, and Melodie Traylor. He was the brother of the late Robert Traylor and Paula Holmes.
Mary H. (Gavitt) McDuff
PAWTUCKET - Mary H. "Polly" (Gavitt) McDuff, of Pawtucket died Friday, June 3, 2011. She was the wife of Joseph G. McDuff. They had been married 56 years.
Mrs. McDuff was born in Westerly, the daughter of the late Raymond and Florence (Hickson) Gavitt. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Nursing and was a Registered Nurse at Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket.

CENTRAL FALLS: George R. Martel, 74, passed peacefully with his loving sons by his side.
Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Rock and Fleurette (Pare) Martel.
Gregory William Coughlin Jr. M.D.
CUMBERLAND - Gregory William Coughlin Jr. M.D., 73, passed away on Thursday June 2nd, 2011 at Kent County Hospital, Warwick surrounded by his family. Born in Providence RI, he was the son of the late Gregory W. and Alice (Burek) Coughlin.
