NORTON - Raymond N. Emmott, 81, formerly of Norton, MA and Pawtucket, RI passed away on Monday, May 21, 2012.
ATTLEBORO - Roger R. Paille, 72, of Richard Street, Attleboro, passed peacefully on Sunday, May 20, 2012 in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence, Rhode Island. He was the beloved husband of Donna M. (Chagnon) Paille.
Born in Attleboro on June 24, 1939, he was a son of Lou (Raposa) Paille and the late Raymond Paille. Roger was educated in Attleboro schools and was a member of the Sea Scouts in earlier days.
NORTH ATTLEBORO - Valmore L. LaFontaine, 80, formerly of North Attleboro, died on Sunday. He was the husband of 37 years of the late Joyce Marie (Arnold) LaFontaine.
Born in Pawtucket on March 25, 1932, he was a son of the late Valmore L. and Blanche Mary (Gavlick) LaFontaine. Raised in South Attleboro, he was a graduate of St. Raphael Academy, College of Holy Cross and earned his Master's in Education from Providence College.
PAWTUCKET - Raymond R. Degre, 71 of Pawtucket died Friday at the Miriam Hospital surrounded by his wife and seven children. He was the husband of Ruth (St. Jean) Degre.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Hormisdas and Jeannette (Fontaine) Belanger, and stepson of Norman Belanger. Raymond was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket.
Prior to his retirement he worked as a security guard for Stern Leach Precious Metals in Attleboro.
PAWTUCKET - John J. Maliboski 95, passed away Sunday May 20, 2012 at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket. He was the beloved husband of Mary B. (Valente) Maliboski.
Born in Central Falls he was a son of the late Joseph and Frances (Golis) Maliborski. He lived in Pawtucket for the past 60 years.
Before retiring John was employed by Buckley and Scott Heating and Oil Co. as a Boiler Technician for many years.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and Korea serving as a Sergeant First Class.
CUMBERLAND - Frances P. Lowe, 82, passed away Saturday in the Memorial Hospital, Pawtucket. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter Lowe Sr.
Born in Pawtucket she was the daughter of the late Bartalo and Angelina (Day) Pino. She resided in Cumberland for the past 50 years.
She was a supervisor at the senior housing at 1 Mendon Rd., Cumberland for 10 years. Mrs. Lowe was also a member of the St. Aidan Seniors.
PAWTUCKET - O'MALLEY, Hilda (Botelho) formerly of West Lawn Ave. Pawtucket died May 20, 2012 in Providence. She was the wife of the late Gordon Lewis and Eugene O'Malley.
She was born in Fall River, MA a daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Silva) Botelho. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and stepchildren. She was the sister of the late Irene Medeiros, Manuel, Herman, James, Joseph and Serafin Botelho.
SMITHFIELD - Irene G. (Mello) Coia, 88, a resident of North Bay Manor, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Julio C. Coia and daughter of the late Joseph E. and Agnes (Tavares) Mello.
A kind and gentle woman, Irene found her greatest joy in cooking, dancing and surrounded by her family.
WARREN - Darrell E. Daugherty, 51, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012 from injuries sustained after being struck by a motor vehicle.
Born in Los Angeles, CA, he was a son of the late Arley & Muriel (Andrews) Daugherty. Darrell worked at the East Side Market Place.
He leaves a son, Matthew J. Gilbert of Pawtucket; a daughter, Erin K. Gilbert of Pawtucket; a sister-in-law, Kym M. Gilbert of Providence; two grandchildren, Jaiden Gilbert and Julianna Marks; two brothers, John and Jesse Lea and sister, Paula Lea. He was brother of the late Penny Daugherty.
Lincoln - Arnold, Edgar "Ed" T. 80 died Friday May 18, 2012 at home. He was the beloved husband of Marilyn L. (Jarvis) Arnold. They were married sixty-one years.
Born in Pawtucket a son of the late Kenneth H. and Isabelle (Taylor) Arnold. He has lived in Lincoln for thirty-five years.
Mr. Arnold was Vice-President of Sales and Engineering,
at Wardwell Braiding Machine Company for forty-three years retiring 1991.
He was an avid golfer and a member of Melody Hills Golf Course.
PAWTUCKET - M. Agnes (Menagh) Gomes, 94, a resident of The St. Jeanne Jugan Residence, passed away Thursday at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late Howard R. Gomes.
Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Agnes C. (Johnson) Menagh.
CRANSTON - Bistransky, Joseph M, 44 of Griswold Avenue, Cranston, died on May 12, 2012.

CENTRAL FALLS. Aurelio Tovar, 84, passed away Monday at RI Hospital after being stricken at home. He was the husband of Iada (Ojeda) Tovar. He was born in Barranquilla, Colombia a son of the late Juan and Adriana (Blanco) Tovar. Mr. Tovar migrated to the US in 1967. He had been employed in the Textile Industry for many years in Colombia and in the Blackstone Valley before retiring.
CENTRAL FALLS: Theresa C. Laporte, 84, passed May 16, 2012. She was the wife of the late Henry Laporte.
Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Alcide and Rose A. (Lacroise) Laliberte. Theresa was a lifelong resident of Central Falls and had been employed for over 30 years by Blackstone Catering.
ATTLEBORO - Leroy E. Emory, 90, of Newport, North Carolina and formerly of South Attleboro passed away at home on Monday, May 14, 2012. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary (Parsigian) Emory.
Born in Durham, North Carolina, a son of the late Dee Irving and Ella (Tilley) Emory, he resided in South Attleboro most of his life before returning to North Carolina 6 years ago.
PAWTUCKET - Robert R. Hanson, 52, a lifelong resident of Pawtucket, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012.
Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late William P. and Doris (Paulhus) Hanson.
He is survived by his sister, Diane Grennell, and his two brothers, Bill and Bruce Hanson.
SMITHFIELD - Sophie V. Drezek (Szczoczarz), 94, of Douglas Pike and formerly of Pawtucket passed away Wednesday in the Philip Hulitar Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Drezek.
Born in Central Falls she was the daughter of the late George and Veronica (Matisewski) Szczoczarz. She was a resident of the Heritage Hills Nursing Center for the past 4 years previously having lived in Pawtucket most of her life.
CRANSTON - Ann Mitson, 79, passed May 11th.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late George and Eliza (Burns) Mitson.
After graduating from St. Xavier's Academy, she had been employed by New England Telephone then Amica Insurance Company.
She is survived by several cousins including her caregivers, Helen M. Shields of Johnston and Martha LaBrosse of Lincoln.
CUMBERLAND - Catherine V. (Quinn) Vaughn, 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 10, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late James M. Vaughn, Jr.
Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Francis James and Mary Ellen (Nolan) Quinn. Catherine was a communicant of the Church of St. Leo the Great.
PAWTUCKET - Lillian E. (Fuller) Storin, 88, a homemaker, of Hope and formerly of Seekonk, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 10, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late John W. Storin.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Alfred and Grace (Franklin) Fuller, she resided in Seekonk before moving to Hope in 2008. Lillian had been employed by Federal Products, and was a Cub Scout and Blue Bird Troop Leader.
