CENTRAL FALLS - Josephine Dyl 93, of 1485 High Street Central Falls passed away Saturday February 9, 2013 at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late John Dyl.
Born in Warwick she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Kurzawa) Karcz. She lived in Central Falls for the past 8 years and was formerly of High Street Cumberland.
Before retiring she was employed as a Textile Inspector in the Blackstone Valley.
Deirdre M. Fisher
PAWTUCKET - Fisher, Deirdre M., 79, of Brookdale Boulevard, Pawtucket, died February 13, 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Mark Fisher III.
Mrs. Fisher was born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Asa and Vera (Decker) Pond. She worked in the Emergency Room of Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket for many years. Deirdre sang with the Rhode Island Civic Choral and Philharmonic for over twenty years.
Raymond J. Keenan
ATTLEBORO - Raymond J. Keenan 69, of County Street passed away Sunday February 10, 2013 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Judith M. (Souza) Keenan.
Born in Central Falls he was a son of the late George and Sarah
(Andrade) Keenan. He lived in Attleboro for the past 55 years.
Before retiring in 2012 Ray was employed as a Ring Maker for the Stearn and Leach Mfg. Co. of Attleboro for 30 years. He was an avid bowler.
William C. Perry, Jr.
PROVIDENCE - William C. Perry, Jr., 51 passed away peacefully at RIH Feb. 7, 2013 with his family by his side.
Born in North Smithfield, RI, son of late William C. Perry Sr., and survivors Joan Perry of Harrisville, RI and his sister Deborah Fortier of Harrisville, RI, daughter Kathrine Filingiere of Bristol, RI.

Arminda O. Monteiro
PROVIDENCE- Arminda O. Monteiro, 95, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family on February 10th.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde, the daughter of the late Olegario and Maria (Santos) Monteiro.
She had been employed by Esposito Jewelry Company of Cranston for many years.
She enjoyed gardening, sewing and was the neighborhood babysitter.
She is survived by four daughters, Margarida Fortes of New Jersey, Paulina Alves and Maria Tavares of Providence and Francisca Monteiro-Balla of West Palm Beach, Florida.
Robert E. Bourgault
SMITHFIELD - Bourgault, Robert E., 76, of Village Drive died Monday at his home. He was the husband of the late Lorraine L. (Dufresne) Bourgault.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Edward J. and Pearl (Moon) Bourgault, he had lived in Smithfield for the past 40 years. Mr. Bourgault was a security guard at Mine Safety and Ann & Hope before retiring. He was also a truck driver.
George A. Faulkner, Sr.
ATTLEBORO - George A. Faulkner, Sr., 73, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 7, 2013. He was the beloved husband of M. Suzanne (Coleman) Faulkner for 50 years.
Alan G. Theofilis
PAWTUCKET - Alan G. Theofilis, 64, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 8, 2013. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late George H. and Rena T. (Nannini) Theofilis. Alan was a draftsman for Grinnell Corporation/Anvil International, North Kingstown for over 30 years.
He leaves a son, Joshua Levin; a sister, Donna J. Valentine of Pawtucket; a niece; a nephew; two grand nieces and a grand nephew.
Cecile G. Lemieux
CUMBERLAND - Cecile G. (Provost) Lemieux, 80, of High St., passed away Friday at the home of her daughter Suzanne Depot. She was the wife of the late Richard Lemieux.
Born in Pawtucket she was the daughter of the late Henry and Marie R. (Vincent) Provost. She had resided in Cumberland for the past 13 years having lived in Pawtucket most of her life. She was a devoted wife and mother to her loving family.
Morris J. Leonard
CUMBERLAND - Morris "Mike" J. Leonard, 82 of West Wrentham Rd. passed away Wednesday in the Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the beloved husband of Lillian B. (Philbin) Leonard.
Born in Pawtucket he was the son of the late Michael and Mary (Fitzgerald) Leonard. He resided in Pawtucket most of his life and moved to Cumberland 12 years ago.
He was employed as Credit Manager for the Petroleum Heat and Power Co. (PETRO), Providence for 17 years retiring in 1994. Previously he was Credit Manager for the Beneficial Finance Co., Pawtucket for 25 years.

PAWTUCKET - Robert Plante, 83 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. He was t husband of the late Elizabeth T. (Kennedy) Plante.
Mr. Plante was born in Pawtucket the son of the late Archibald and Mary E. (Hayes) Plante.
He is survived by his four children, Robert Plante, Christopher Plante and his wife Susan, David Plante, and Mary Hanlon and her husband Brian. Mr. Plante also leaves his grandchildren Marian, Allison, Andrew, Ryan, and Daisy. He was the brother of the late Doris Plante.
Roland L. Woodcock
EAST PROVIDENCE - Roland "Rollie" L. Woodcock, 70, of Rumford, passed away at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence on Thursday, February 7, 2013 surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with stomach cancer for the past 10 months. He was the husband of Muriel A. (Carosi) Woodcock for 44 years.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Thomas F. and Bertha (Kraigenow) Woodcock. Rollie was the owner of Rollies Skate Shop, Rumford for 36 years.
Arthur H. Heroux
LINCOLN - Arthur H. Heroux, 78, of Lincoln, died Sunday at Woonsocket Health & Rehabilitation Ctr. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Oliveira) Heroux and the son of the late Varctume and Dulme (Laprade) Heroux.
Mr. Heroux had been employed by Carol Cable Company and Walmart Stores. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
His son Michael Heroux of Tennessee; brother Raymond Heroux sisters Alma Gendron and Helen Iannuzzi,; two grandsons Michael and Matthew Heroux and several nieces and nephews survive him.
CUMBERLAND - Luzia Franco, 67, passed at home on February 4th. She was the wife of Antonio Franco. Born in Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Joaquim and Virginia (DaLuz) Pedro.
She had been employed as a Chef by the Madeira and Estrela do Mar Restaurants and at the St. Antoine Residence.
PAWTUCKET - Fat Ip, 94, of Roosevelt Avenue died Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of Ho Wong Ip.
Born in Hong Kong, he was the founder of the China Inn in Pawtucket with his son, Louis Yip and son in law, Tsi Lee. He was a member of the Chinese Christian Church of Rhode Island, Pawtucket.
Ratha Dasi Heyda
NORTH CAROLINA - Ratha Dasi Heyda, also known as Rasa, 41, died peacefully at her family's home in North Carolina surrounded by loved ones on 24 Dec 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. She had most recently worked as a triple board resident (pediatrics, psychiatry, and child psychiatry) at Brown University while living in Pawtucket.
Pauline Mary Hanley
JUPITER, FL. - Pauline Mary Hanley, age 93, of Jupiter, FL passed away on January 30, 2013. She was born in Cumberland, RI and lived in Pawtucket and Little Compton, RI until moving to Jupiter over 20 years ago. Pauline was a social worker for the State of Rhode Island.
CENTRAL FALLS - Anita (Levasseur) Gaudreau, 97, passed February 3rd. She was the wife of the late Maurice H. Gaudreau.
Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Hermilina (Bedard) Levasseur. She had been employed as a seamstress for many years.
Charles A. Vaslet
CUMBERLAND - Charles A. Vaslet, 93, of Chambers Street and formerly of Reservoir Avenue, Lincoln died Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Grandview Center, Cumberland. He was the husband of the late Corinne M. (Goyette) Vaslet.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late George J. and Carrie M. (Corrigan) Vaslet, he had lived in Lincoln for 59 years before moving to Cumberland 4 years ago.
Mr. Vaslet was a machinist at Hope Webbing and Pawtucket Fastener for many years before retiring in 1984.
He was a graduate of Attleboro High School and was a World War II Army veteran.
