Margaret A. McNeil
RAYMOND, NH- Margaret A. McNeil, 70, of Raymond, NH, died Thursday at home. She was the wife of Thomas F. McNeil.
Born in Providence a daughter of the late David F. and Ellen E. (Waterman) Leamy, she lived most of her life in Rhode Island moving to New Hampshire 15 years ago.
ATTLEBORO- Martha (Volkle) LaBree, 78, of Attleboro, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 7, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late William H. LaBree.
Born in Dillingen, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Reinhold and Theresia (Butscher) Volkle.
Joseph E. Everton Sr.
PAWTUCKET - Joseph E. Everton Sr., 53, passed peacefully March 6th with his family by his side. He was the fianc of Linda
Born in Attleboro, he was the son of the late Clinton and Dorothy (Shaw) Everton.
Joseph had been employed by Masbro Polishing for 33 years.
Besides his fianc he is survived by two sons, Joseph E. Everton Jr, and Trever Everton, two daughters, Nicole Gay and Barbara Pereira, a brother, Paul Everton, a sister, Deborah
Hall, 4 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Grace Ann Glynn
ORLANDO, FL. - Glynn, Grace Ann (Rogers), 94. Born January 19, 1919. Died February 23, 2013 in Orlando, Florida. Grace was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket.
As a single mom with two children she worked in the war effort of WWII while living with and supporting her own grandmother. In 1950 she formed her own business, designing, manufacturing, and selling a variety of satin and lace floral supply products to florists throughout New England. In her later years she maintained the business on a small scale until she was 85.
Maria J. Pires
CUMBERLAND - Maria J. Pires, 89, of Elizabeth St., passed away Monday in the Grandview Nursing Center, Cumberland. She was the wife of the late Antonio Pires.
Born in the Valley Falls section of Cumberland she was the daughter of the late Miguel and Maria (Guerra) Salustio.
Mrs. Pires was a textile worker for many years until her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church, Cumberland.
PAWTUCKET - Alphonse Orlowski, 86, of Broadway, Pawtucket died on Sunday, March 3, 2013. He was the husband of Irene Orlowski.
Mr. Orlowski was born in Central Falls, the son of the late Joseph and Regina Orlowski. He was employed by Conlon Movers for many years. Al was a United States Army Veteran of WWII. He was an avid bowler at the East Providence Lanes.
Theresa C. Chartier
PAWTUCKET - Theresa C. Chartier, 83, passed away peacefully at home on March 3, 2013. She was the wife of the late Edward L. Chartier, who she lovingly referred to as "Mr. Wonderful" throughout their 65 years together.
Madelyn T. Shaw
PAWTUCKET - Madelyn T. Shaw, 90, formerly of Pullen Ave, passed peacefully on March 5th. She was the wife of the late Warren J. Shaw Sr.
Born in Pawtucket, Madelyn was a daughter of the late Peter A. and Ella (Cormier) Sherry.
She had been employed by the former Swank Jewelry and Fuller Box Company for many years. She was a former president of the Ladies Auxiliary Pawtucket FOP.
Nancy Kathleen Smith
GERMANY - Nancy Kathleen Smith, 72, of Germany and formerly of Pawtucket, passed away February 24, 2013 in Germany.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late William Collins and Katherine (Leonard) O'Neill. Nancy was an educator of elementary school children for the Department of Defense for the last twenty years in Germany. Prior to that she was a school teacher at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Bristol.
Gail M. DeCarlo
PAWTUCKET - Gail M. (Lemieux) DeCarlo, 57, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, March 2, 2013.
She was the beloved daughter of Ida B. (Costa) and Albert E. Cartwright of Pawtucket and the beloved daughter of the late Donald Lemieux. Gail was an avid reader and enjoyed completing puzzles; going to the beach and eating Chinese Food.
PAWTUCKET - Regan, Helen, 92, of Pawtucket passed away Monday, March 04, 2013 at home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Maurice Regan. Born in Rockford, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Margaret (O'Malley) Phillip. She had lived in Pawtucket over sixty years.
CENTRAL FALLS - Norbey "Johnny" Gonzalez, 33, passed unexpectedly on March 2nd.
He was the husband of Kelly Greene.
Born in Cali, Colombia, he was a son of Elizabeth Ortega and the late Humberto DeJesus Gonzalez.
Norbey had been employed as a truck driver by Management Services.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Johnny Gonzalez, two daughters, Justina Gonzalez and Kathleen Joanna Rivera, a sister, Duffay Salazar and other sibling in Colombia.
Lillian A. Medeiros
CUMBERLAND - Lillian A. Medeiros (Trudeau), 89, a lifelong Cumberland resident passed away Sunday in the St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield.
Born in Central Falls she was the daughter of the late George and Bella A. (Dube) Trudeau.
She was employed by the Hindley Mfg. Co., Cumberland for 30 years until her retirement.
James W. Trudell
PAWTUCKET - James W. Trudell of Manton Street, Pawtucket passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013. He was the husband of Mona (Viens) Trudell.
Mr. Trudell was born in Pawtucket the son of the late Harold and Ellen Trudell. He was a Korean War Veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Trudell was a supervisor for the Copper and Brass Company in North Attleboro, Massachusetts for many years.
Dorothy H. Fitzpatrick
PAWTUCKET - Dorothy H. Fitzpatrick (Earnshaw), 95, of Pawtucket died March 3, 2013 at Home and Hospice Care of RI. She was the wife of the late Fred R. Fitzpatrick. Mrs. Fitzpatrick was born in Fall River, MA, daughter of the late Robert and Eva (Hall) Earnshaw. She was a homemaker and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Lawrence F. Kelly, Jr.
JONESTOWN, PA - Lawrence F. Kelly, Jr., 74, of Jonestown, PA passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2013, at his home. He was the husband of Gisele G. Lapointe Kelly.
Born in Boston, on September 20, 1938, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Mary Schiller Kelly. He had a prosperous career in textile spending over 25 years with Health-Tex in RI before eventually retiring as supervisor at Everite Knitting Mills in Lebanon PA. Lawrence was a member of the Our Lady of Fatima Chapel, Jonestown, PA. He was a life-long auto racing fan, and train enthusiast.
Joan Cecilia Trahan
LEWES, DE - Joan Cecilia Trahan, of Lewes, DE, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 in the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, DE. She was 80.
Joan was born, January 6, 1933 in Cumberland, Rhode Island, to the Late- William & Cecilia (McKee) Kelleher. She had been employed as the manager for Zayre's Department Store, which later became Ames, for many years, in Attleboro, MA. Later in life Joan had served as a secretary for the Fellowship House, in Reston, VA. She enjoyed playing cards, especially the game Canasta.
RIVERSIDE - Michelle Kent, 44, of Bristol Avenue, Riverside, passed away on February 27, 2013. Michelle was born in Pawtucket, daughter of Frederick Kent, Jr. and Patricia (Bonneau) Kent of Pawtucket.
Besides her parents, Michelle is survived by her son Shane N. Kent of Riverside, her brothers, Todd E. Kent and his wife Janine of North Providence and Michael A. Kent of Norfolk, VA. She also leaves a sister, Joyce A. Malo of East Providence and nieces and nephews, Brett, Jason, Carissa and Taylor.
PAWTUCKET - Despa Martino, 85, of Pawtucket passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Frank Martino. They had been married 59 years.
Mrs. Martino was born in Pawtucket the daughter of the late Stephen Theohares and Polexeni (Markazini) Theohares. She was employed by the Tax Department for the City of Pawtucket for over 20 years before she retired in 1989.
