O. Muriel Labrie
KEENE, NH - O. Muriel Labrie, 92, formerly of Surry Hill Road, Keene, NH died at the Keene Center-Genesis Eldercare on Friday afternoon, September 6, 2013 with her dear friends by her side.
She was born in Pawtucket, RI on December 24, 1920 the daughter of Alfred J. and Olivine (Gagner) Labrie.
Walter C. Littlefield
BLOCK ISLAND - Walter Clifford Littlefield, 83, a past resident of Block Island, Rhode Island and Seekonk, Massachusetts died Friday, August 30, 2013 at Elmhurst Extended Care in Providence, after a long battle with Parkinsons Disease.
He was the cherished husband of the late Priscilla J. (Macomber) Littlefield, father of Christina D. Littlefield, brother of the late Marilyn Littlefield Rose, uncle to Bernice Rose Dangelas and the late Clifford M. Rose.
John P. Asermely
PAWTUCKET - John P. Asermely, 81, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully at home, Saturday, September 7, 2013. He was the husband of the late Victorine (Nassaney) Asermely. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Elias and Jamelia (Monsour) Asermely.
John was a navy veteran of the Korean War and was active member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, branch of Damascus. He, along with his brothers, owned Asermely Brothers Service Station. He also owned and operated the former Asermely's Market. He later was a bus driver for RIPTA for 16 years, retiring in 1996.
Virginia L. Kosteer
SMITHFIELD - Kosteer, Virginia L.,88, of Greenville, died Friday. She was the widow of Alfred Kosteer, mother of Daniel Kosteer and his wife, Rita and Deborah Adler and her husband, Bruce, grandmother of Nick and Neil Adler and Jennifer and Kimberly Kosteer and sister of George Gibney of South Attleboro. She was the sister of the late Gloria Gibney.
She had worked at JP Coates, the State of Rhode Island and Edward Gatta Associates before retiring. She enjoyed sewing and was an amateur artist.
Jean M. Caron
PAWTUCKET - Jean M. (Smith) Caron, 75, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 8, 2013 surrounded by her family at the Philip Hulitar Home & Hospice Center, Providence, A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Arthur J., Sr. and Mona H. (Casey) Smith.
Jean was a homemaker and former member of the Pawtucket Country Club; the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Junior Womens Club. Above all she was a devoted and loving mother; grandmother and great-grandmother. Jean also cared for and loved her cat, Daisy.
