Norman B. Grenier
NORTH PROVIDENCE - Norman B. Grenier, 83, of Douglas Avenue died Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. He was the husband of Luella G. (Rainey) Grenier.
Mr. Grenier had lived in Florida before moving to North Providence 5 years ago.
He was a truck driver for many years and had worked at Scott Brass, Cranston for 8 years. He was also a bus driver for Conway Bus, Cumberland for several years.
Vincent P. Chiarillo
PAWTUCKET - Vincent P. Chiarillo, 87, of Pawtucket, died September 15, 2013. He was the husband of Beatrice (Mello) Chiarillo. He was born in Providence. Son of the late George and Josephine Chiarillo. He was employed by Olney and Payne Oil Co. for many years until his retirement. He was a school bus monitor for First Student. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.
Antonio D. Laranjo
PAWTUCKET - Antonio D. Laranjo, 70, passed on September 14th 2013.
He was the son of the late Arthur D. and Angelina (Alvernaz) Laranjo.
He is survived by a son Antonio D. Laranjo Jr, a daughter, Deborah Vitale, two brothers, Manuel R. and Antonio Laranjo. Three sisters, Maria Eduardina Andrade, Maria daConceicao Escobar and Maria deLourdes, and 2 grandchildren.
Rudolph A. Gonya
PAWTUCKET - Rudolph A. Gonya "Rudy", 81, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 14, 2013 after a long battle with cancer. He was the husband of Victoria (Lamoureux) Gonya. They have been married for 60 years. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Florence (Desjardin) Gonya. Rudolph had been employed for many years by Decorated Fabrics and served as their union's president. He was also a head usher at St. Raymond Church for many years.
James L. Campbell
PAWTUCKET - James L. Campbell, 80, of Pawtucket, died September 15, 2013. He was the husband of Barbara (Ventruska) Campbell. He was born in Pawtucket. Son of the late Leo and Loretta (Kelly) Campbell. He was employed by American Insulated Wire Co. for fifty years until his retirement. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.
Besides his wife he is survived by two children James Campbell of San Diego, CA and Diane Fuller of Pawtucket. Six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Edith E. Keron
PAWTUCKET - Edith E. Keron, 95, of Pawtucket passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis L. Keron.
Mrs. Keron was born in Quebec, Canada, the daughter of the late Polycarpe Rodrigue and Emma (Racine) Rodrigue. She was a long time communicant of St. Leo's Church in Pawtucket and a member of the senior citizens group there.
Elizabeth A. Moss
PAWTUCKET - MOSS, Elizabeth Anne (Andrade) 72, of Pawtucket died on September 13, 2013. She was born in Providence. Daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth (Monteiro) Andrade. She was a nurse and a proud member and veteran of the U.S. Army.
She is survived by two daughters Jacquelyn and Lisa Moss, both of Pawtucket. One son Patrick Dozier of Virginia. Two sisters Celeste Andrade of Belmont, MA and Dr. Claire Andrade-Watkins of Providence. Five grandchildren Darnell, Jarnee, John, Madison and Mia. One great-grandson Darnell Joseph.
Lillian M. Ruddy
PAWTUCKET - Lillian M. Ruddy , 92, of Pawtucket died on September 13, 2013. She was the wife of the late John J. Ruddy.
Mrs. Ruddy was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Peter and Marie Beauregard. She was a supervisor at Health Tex and Standard Romper. After Lillian retired, she not only loved spending time with her family but also with her dear friends at St. Aidan's Senior Center planning their next trip.
Augusto B. Vicente
Central Falls - Augusto B. Vicente, "Gugu" 57, passed on September 13th at the Miriam Hospital.
Born in Fogo, Cape Verde, he was a son of the late Paulino Barbosa Vicente and Candida
(Pires Gomes) Vicente of Central Falls.
He had worked for many years as a machine operator.
Besides his mother, Augusto is survived by many siblings, and other relatives and friends.
Edward G. Malloy
WEST PALM BEACH, FL. - Malloy, Edward G, 81, passed away Sunday September 8, 2013 at his home in West Palm Beach, Fl. He was the companion of Joan E. Welch. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late George J. Malloy and Sarah (Chase) Malloy of Pawtucket.
