Jane S. Barlow
PAWTUCKET - Jane S. Barlow, 78, died Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island surrounded by her loved ones. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard G. Barlow. Jane was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Theodore and Elizabeth (Brown) Durand and lived her entire life in Pawtucket. She was a proud homemaker and was devoted to her children and her grandchildren. She enjoyed doing crafts and loved fishing.
Leona A. Berard
SARASOTA - Leona A. Berard, 98, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the Tidewell Hospice House of Sarasota with her daughter Denise at her side. She was the devoted wife for 55 years to the late Eugene H. Berard.
Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Dolor and Leonile (Baris) Dery.
Marie A. Lagesse
PROVIDENCE - Marie A. (Sangiovanni) Lagesse, 64 died Friday, October 4th at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Steven Lagesse and they were married for 40 years. Born in Providence she was the daughter of Anna (Pesce) Sangiovanni and the late Peter Sangiovanni.
Prior to her retirement in 2005, Marie worked as a school teacher for the North Providence School Department.
Kathleen M. SanBento
SOUTH KINGSTON - Kathleen Mary SanBento, 59, of Kingston, died Monday at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Thomas J. SanBento for 33 years.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Mary (Barry) Pearson of Lincoln and the late William Murphy, and stepdaughter of Ronald Pearson of Lincoln.
Most recently, Mrs. SanBento had been working with autistic children at the Olean Center, in particular, Kale. She loved music, dancing, swimming in the ocean, cooking, and doing yoga with her friends.
Anna L. Gamache
PAWTUCKET - Anna L. Gamache, 99, of Pawtucket died on Sunday, October 6, 2013. She was the wife of the late Oscar Gamache and Dr. M. Curtis Silva.
Mrs. Gamache was a bookkeeper at the farmer's Market in Providence and then assisted her husband as a receptionist and bookkeeper.
She is survived by her son Richard C. Silva and his wife Jacqueline of Pawtucket. She also leaves her four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Frank J. McKenna
NEW LONDON - Frank J. McKenna, 82, of 341 Shewville Road, Ledyard died Saturday, October 5, 2013, at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital.
Mr. McKenna was born June 19, 1931, in Pawtucket, RI, the oldest son of the late Francis and Evelyn (McLellan) McKenna. He had lived in Rhode Island for most of his life. Mr. McKenna had served in the U.S. Army Reserves, Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree and was a retired Supervisor from Carol Cable.
Arlene Frances St. Jacques
ATTLEBORO - Arlene Frances (Noonan) St. Jacques, 73, a resident of the Sandcastle Adult Community in Attleboro for the past 8 years, passed away on Sunday, October 6th. She was the devoted wife of the late Richard J. St. Jacques, to whom she was married for 43 years.
Douglas S. Frizzell
CUMBERLAND - Douglas S. Frizzell, 60, of High Street died Sunday, September 29, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Frank W. and Ruth (Darlington) Frizzell, he had lived in Cumberland all of his life.
Mr. Frizzell was a screw machine set-up man for Read Machine Company, Lincoln before retiring in 2005. He was a 1970 graduate of Cumberland High School.
He was a self-taught artist, guitarist, and an avid reader. He was a huge Boston Red Sox fan.
Albert L. Bessette
NORTH PROVIDENCE - Albert L. Bessette, 90, of North Providence and Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, October 4, 2013. He was the beloved husband of the late Claire A. (Cayer) Bessette. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late George H. and Margaret L. (Thurber) Bessette.
Gloria B. Nahas
PAWTUCKET - Gloria B. (Macksoud) Nahas, 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 5, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Leo Nahas. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Habib and Lila (Siber) Macksoud. Gloria was the manager of Eden Park Cleansers, Providence until retiring.
She leaves a brother, James Macksoud and his wife, Ann of Pawtucket and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mathilda Ameen, Nellie Lemire, Fred and Edmund Macksoud.
Regina M. Filipek
PAWTUCKET - Regina M. Filipek, 94, formerly of Ordway Street passed away Friday October 4, 2013 at Harris Health Center North in Central Falls. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Filipek.
Born in Attleboro she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Sophia (Wieraizka) Narkiewicz.. She lived in Pawtucket most of her life.
CUMBERLAND - Aida Delgado, 78 of Mill Street, passed away Thursday in R. I. Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of Joao Delgado.
Born in Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Sebastio and Maria (de Jesus) Antonio. Mrs. Delgado moved to the United States in 1960 settling in Cumberland.
She worked as a machine operator for Hindley Manufacturing, Cumberland for many years until her retirement in 1997 and previously worked for the former Atlas Braid Co., of Cumberland.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Cumberland.
EAST PROVIDENCE - Gilberto DaSilva, 90 died Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Evergreen House Health Center. He was the husband of the late Alice D. (Oliveira) DaSilva.
He was born in Feteira, Faial, Azores a son of the late Manuel and Lucrecia (DaGloria) DaCosta.
Mr. DaSilva worked at the Pawtucket Elks Lodge, where he was also a member, before retiring. He was inducted into the New Bedford Whaling Museum Wall of Fame on June 13, 2013.
Rufus C. Aldridge
PAWUCKET- Rufus C. Aldridge, 82, died peacefully Monday, September 30, 2013 surrounded by his loved ones. He was the beloved husband of Laurel A. (Kenney) Aldridge for 36 years.

PAWTUCKET - Stanley J. Remiesiewicz, 91, died Monday, September 30, 2013 at Orchard View Manor, East Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie-Therese (Reinartz) Remiesiewicz and the late Lydia (Beben) Remiesiewicz.
SNOWMASS, COLORADO - Thomas Duffin, 44, formerly of Pawtucket passed away at his residence in Colorado on Saturday September 28, 2013.
Born in Pawtucket he was a beloved son of Janice G. (Pellegrini) Duffin of Pawtucket and the late John P. Duffin Jr. He lived in Colorado for the past 25 years where he was employed as a Waiter.
Besides his mother he leaves two devoted brothers, John P. Duffin III and his wife Marie and Craig Duffin and his wife Belinda all of Pawtucket. He also leaves two loving nieces and one nephew.
Brian L. Ellsworth
PAWTUCKET - Brian L. Ellsworth, 60, of Pinecrest Drive died unexpectedly Thursday, September 26, 2013 at the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, Pawtucket. He was the husband of the late Elaine F. (Morrison) Ellsworth.
Born in Attleboro, MA., a son of the late Edgar and Helen (Lewis) Ellsworth, he had lived in Pawtucket for over 40 years.
Mr. Ellsworth worked in the Boston Shipyard before retiring.
He coached baseball in the Pineview Little League, and coached for Mayor's Cup in basketball.
Jennie M. Barry
CUMBERLAND - Jennie M. Barry, 93, formerly of Abbott Run Valley Road, passed away Sunday in Cape Cod at home, where she resided with her daughter Cynthia. She was the wife of the late Anthony D. Barry.
Born in Massachusetts, she resided in Massachusetts for a short time, previously residing for 12 years in Old Saybrook, CT, and most of her life in Cumberland.
She was a Communicant of the St. Joan of Arc Church, a former communicant of the St. John Church, Old Saybrook, CT, and was also an active member in the various senior centers in which she lived.
Gerard D. Lafond
CUMBERLAND - Gerard D. Lafond, 62, of 480 Metacom Ave., Bristol and formerly of Cumberland passed away Monday in the R. I. Veterans Home, Bristol.
Born in Pawtucket he was the son of Bernadette (Lemoine) Lafond of Cumberland, and the late Donat Lafond.
