Lucienne E. Zonfrillo
ATTLEBORO - Lucienne E. Zonfrillo, 88, died peacefully at home on November 27. She was the wife of the late Edward Zonfrillo and the late Lucien Elie. She was born in Sherbrooke, Canada, the daughter of the late Eddy and Amanda (LaCroix) Cote. She settled in the Pawtucket/Attleboro area more than 55 years ago.
Mrs. Zonfrillo retired from the Allendale Insurance Co. (now FM Global) where she worked in the mail room for many years. Her home and family were the centers of her life and she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Dorothy L.C. Downes
SEEKONK - Downes, Dorothy L.C., 85, passed away peacefully at home on November 29, 2012.
Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of Clifford and Salvatoria (Barone) Walters.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Jeremiah E.Downes and her children, Stephen J. Downes, Deborah Cahill, Mary Xavier, Cynthia Senor and June Tebbe as well as 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Thomas C. Downes. She is also survived by her sister, Gladys Brown, and her brothers, Clifford and Frederick Walters.
Robert J. Fernandes, Sr.
PAWTUCKET - Robert J. Fernandes, Sr., 75, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 29, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Maureen C. (Welsh) Fernandes for 58 years.
Born in Bristol, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Correia) Fernandes. Bob was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Claire Y. Roy
CENTRAL FALLS - Claire Y. Roy, 77, passed on November 28th. She was the daughter of the late Adelard and Mary A. (Bessette) Fredette.
She had been employed by Stanley's Restaurant of Central Falls for 30 years and then for the Foundation for the Blind retiring in 1997.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol Santos, with whom she resided at 70 Hall St, in Providence before moving to Charlesgate Nursing Home.
LINCOLN - Joseph James "Joe" Goudreau, 49, of Dexter Rock Road died unexpectedly Monday, November 26, 2012 after a tree felling accident. He was the loving husband of Judi (Hinsdill) Goudreau.
Born in Providence, a son of Joseph A. and Catherine (Peacock) Goudreau of Lincoln, he was a lifelong resident of Lincoln. He was a 1979 graduate of Lincoln High School and a graduate of CCRI.
Doris Jean Smith Bagley
NEW BERN, NC - Doris Jean Smith Bagley, 82, born in Central Falls, Rhode Island on August 9, 1930 died Monday, November 26, 2012 at Two Rivers Healthcare-Neuse, New Bern, NC after a brief illness.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Charles ("Charlie") Bagley; her brother, John Smith; her brother-in-law, William ("Bill") Lyle and her step grandson, Charles Jackson.
CENTRAL FALLS - Domingos, Joseph, 85, of Hunt St, Central Falls, died Sunday November 25, 2012 at the Golden Crest Nursing Centre. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Manuel and Maria (Peiera) Domingos. He was the companion of Vivian Martin. He was a Navy WWII veteran.
Peter F. Dyer, Sr.
LINCOLN - Peter F. Dyer, Sr., 83, of Cullen Hill Road died Monday, November 26, 2012 at Trinity Health Center, Woonsocket. He was the beloved husband of Shirley (White) Dyer. Mr. and Mrs. Dyer were married for 53 years.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Thomas B. and Mary E. (Reilly) Dyer, he had lived in Lincoln for the past 53 years.
Richard L. Polverari
NORTH PROVIDENCE - Richard L. Polverari, 68, passed November 27th. He was the husband of Patricia (Corriveau) Polverari. They have been married for 41 years.
Born in New Haven, CT, he was a son of the late Angelo and Catherine Rose (Di Mascola). Richard was a Bus Driver for RIPTA for 37 years before retiring in 2008.
He served as a Sergeant during the Vietnam War, 107th Signal Company Operations.
Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Suann Polverari of New York, a brother, Jerry Whittren of Mississippi and several nieces and nephews.
Marshall Wayne Garland
Marshall Wayne Garland, 81, formerly of 120 Hatfield Street, Pawtucket, died in Mayfield, Kentucky on November 14, 2012.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth of Mayfield; son Michael and daughter-in-law Beth Garland of Auburn, Massachusetts; granddaughter Sarah Garland of Marlborough, Massachusetts; grandson Andrew Garland of Auburn, Massachusetts; stepdaughter Roxie Webb of Paducah, KY; stepson Tyrone Wilkey of Mayfield, KY; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Georgianna (Issa) in 1985.
PAWTUCKET - Ingeborg Turkiw, 83, of Meadow Street passed away Monday November 26, 2012 at Oak Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Pawtucket. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter "Wasyl" Turkiw.
Born in Germany she was a daughter of the late Paul and Berta Kohlert. She lived in Pawtucket for the past 51 years and was formerly of Central Falls.
Before retiring she was employed at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital in the Central Supply Department.
PAWTUCKET - Blanche Beckett, 85, formerly of Geneva Plaza, passed away Saturdat at Roger Williams Hospital after an illness. She was the wife of the late Donald Beckett.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Adelard and Blanche (Larose) Lambert. She had been a textile worker at the former Cadillac Textile for many years.
Phillip J. Stroscio
PAWTUCKET - Phillip J. Stroscio of Walcott Street, Pawtucket passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Hospice after suffering a long illness with cancer, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of June E. (Drummond) Stroscio. Mr. Stroscio was born in Pawtucket, the son of the late Frank Stroscio and Josephine (Sidoti) Stroscio.
He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II, Serving in Europe and was a lifetime member of the VFW. Before retiring Phillip worked as a printer initially at J.C. Hall Company and later at Citizens bank.
Phillip J. Regan
EAST PROVIDENCE - Phillip J. Regan, 52, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012. Born in Providence, he was the son of Helen (Phillip) Regan, and the late Maurice Regan. Phillip lived most of his life in Pawtucket before moving to East Providence fifteen years ago. He was a graduate of Tolman High School and CCRI. He was a true outdoorsman who loved hiking, camping and mountain climbing.
MILFORD, DE - Leesona "Lee" Dougherty passed away November 24, 2012 at The Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE. She was 72.
She was born July 9, 1940 in North Attleboro, MA to the late William Stack and Loretta (Gauthier) Stack Grimley. She attended and graduated from Tolman High School in Pawtucket, RI in 1958. Many of the friendships that she made while growing up in New England endured throughout her lifetime.

PAWTUCKET - Shirley A. Sharples, 81, of Pawtucket, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Albert Sharples.

LINCOLN - Dorothy Mae (Burgess) Parmentier, 85, of Franklin Street, Lincoln, died on Monday, November 19, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Facility in Providence, Rhode Island. She was the wife of the late Omer L. Parmentier, Sr. who died on August 4, 2007.
Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on July 5, 1927, she was a daughter of the late William B. Burgess, Sr. and Martha (Burgess) Burgess. She was resident of Lincoln for more than 30 years having previously resided in Pawtucket.

PAWTUCKET - Richard J. Herchel 74, passed away November 17, 2012.
He leaves one brother Zygmunt "ZEKE" Herchel and his wife Sophie of Cumberland, he also leaves five nieces, Elaine Devonis of Cumberland, Barbara Holt and her husband Thomas and Linda Sherman and her husband Jay of Lincoln, Mary Ann Murray of Warren, Kathleen Biagioni and her husband Jim of Foster, also nephews Michael Devonis and his wife Sharon of Orlando, FL and Mitchell Krzyzek and his wife Denise of Middletown.

PAWTUCKET - Stapleton, John L., 85, passed peacefully Monday at the Pawtucket Nursing Home. Born in Providence, a son of the late John and Abbie (Duffy) Stapleton and was married to Lorraine "Rusty" (Dussault) Stapleton for 61 years.
ATTLEBORO, MA - Sue-Ann Gaouette, 85, died November 18th at home, in Attleboro. She was the wife of Allen Gaouette. Born in Buffalo, New York, a daughter of the late James and Ann (Hamilton) Leckie, she was a longtime resident of the Attleboro area. She was an organist and a volunteer in the care of the elderly.
