ATTLEBORO, MA - Laurene Mary Wolters, 56, of Locust Street, Attleboro Ma, died from cancer at the Philip Hulitar Center, Providence on Friday, August 10, 2012.
Laurene was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Stanley and Ida Wolters. She was a 1973 graduate of Tolman High School in Pawtucket and an accomplished accordion player. Laurene was employed as a graphic artist for Paramount Lines before she became a pharmacy technician for Pharmerica, and then Rite Aid in South Attleboro, Ma.
PAWTUCKET- Barbara A. Malloy, 73, passed away Monday August 13, 2012 at Evergreen House in East Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Malloy.
Born in Pawtucket she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Dziedzic) Courtemanche. She lived in Pawtucket for most of her life.
Before retiring Barbara was employed by the former Health-Tex Mfg. Co. as a Seamstress for 7 years and later worked as a Home Health Aid in the Blackstone Valley Area.
EAST PROVIDENCE - Lorraine M. (Cloutier) Valentine, 76, passed away Friday, August 10, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Leon J. Valentine.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Wilfrid and Anita (Letourneau) Cloutier, she resided in Pawtucket most of her life before moving to East Providence over nine years ago. Lorraine was employed at Texas Instruments for over 30 years until retiring as a supervisor. She was most recently employed in the Bingo Hall at Foxwoods for several years, retiring to help take care of her grandchildren.
LINCOLN - Winifred T. (Roe) Bushy, 88, of Cobble Hill Road, Lincoln passed away Friday, August 10, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late Hardeen A. Bushy. She was born in Barrington, a daughter of the late Ellery T. and Mary (Sharples) Roe.
PAWTUCKET - Ester B. DeSousa, 75, died August 11, 2012. She was the wife of the late Adriano T. DeSousa. She was born in Vila Ruiva, Portugal. Daughter of the late Jose Pereira Laginhas and Emilia Mendes (Barata) Laginhas.
She came to this country 53 years ago settling in New Bedford, MA and had lived in Danbury, CT. She was a member of St. Anthony's Church, Pawtucket.
She is survived by 2 daughters Theresa Gormley of N. Attleboro and Elizabeth Dwyer of Warwick, 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
