PAWTUCKET - Linda M. (Thibeault) Roy, 65, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, May 9, 2012. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert F., Sr. and Flora I. (Daigle) Roy.
Linda worked in the Accounting Department of Hasbro for over fifteen years until retiring. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Linda enjoyed playing cards; music; Twin Rivers, and was a former member of St. Teresa's Choir.
WOONSOCKET - Clarisse Landry, 93, passed May 9th with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Raymond J. Landry.
Born in Lincoln, a daughter of the late Pierre and Sarah (Gagne) Emond.
She is survived by a daughter, Anita DuCharme and her husband Albert with whom she resided in Woonsocket, a brother, Emile Emond of Cumberland, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Raymond E. Landry.
SWANSEA - Muriel I. (Blake) Allenson, age 80, of Swansea, died, Tuesday, May 1, 2012 in the Kimwell Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Merrill S. "Mel" Allenson.
Born in Attleboro, a daughter of the late David and Ida (Poirier) Blake, she lived in Seekonk for many years and had been a resident of Swansea for 25 years.
A graduate of Pawtucket East High School, she worked at Swank in Attleboro and Taunton for 20 years. Muriel was a member of the Red Hat Society, was a very talented knitter, and an excellent cook.
CENTRAL FALLS - Mary Libucha 98, passed away Wednesday May 9, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis J. Libucha.
Born in Poland she was a daughter of the late John and Ludwika (Uram) Szerlag. She lived in Coventry for the past 3 years and was formerly of Central Falls.
Before retiring she was employed as a Seamstress for the former New England Industries for 10 years retiring in 1976.
Mary was a member of St. Josephs Church Holy Rosary Society and the former Senior group. She was also a member of the former Orchard Lake Schools Ladies Auxiliary.
PAWTUCKET. Timothy H. Karpinski, 59, formerly of Towers East, passed away, Saturday after an illness. He was the longtime companion of Debbie Huntington. Born in Bellows Falls, Vt. a son of the late Chester and Katherine S. (Fenessey) Karpinski. Tim lived in the Pawtucket area most of his life until moving to Johnston a short time ago.
CUMBERLAND - Margarida Carvalho (Carreiro), 97, of Broad St. passed away Tuesday in the Pawtucket Health and Rehabilitation Center, Pawtucket. She was the beloved wife of the late Jacinto Carvalho.
Born in Jamestown, she was the daughter of the late Jose and Maria (Augusta) Carreiro. She resided in the Valley Falls section of Cumberland for most of her life.
She was employed by the International Packaging Co., Pawtucket for many years until her retirement and had previously been employed by the Central Braid Co., Central Falls.
ATTLEBORO - Anita (Bandieri) Oliver, 85, formerly of Timothy Drive, Attleboro, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2012. She was the wife of the late Anthony J. Oliver, Sr.
Anita was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Cesare and Celia (Giambastiani) Bandieri.
Mrs. Oliver is survived by her children, Anthony J. Oliver Jr., Kathleen Laurence, Carolyn Oliver-Lawson all of Pawtucket and Susan Oliver of Attleboro, MA, four grandchildren, one great-grandson and a brother Paul Bandieri.
CENTRAL FALLS - Homer L. Lafond Jr., 73, died Saturday in N. Conway, NH. He was the husband of Claudette (Tellier) Lafond.
Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Homer L. Lafond Sr. and Lucille M. (Dery) Lafond.
LINCOLN - Madelyn Collins, 91, of Lincoln, died Sunday at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late Arnold B. Collins and the daughter of the late James J. and Helen (Rush) Gorman.
She is survived by several cousins. Mrs. Collins was employed as a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital for over 37 year.
A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be celebrated today at 10:00 am in St. Ambrose Church, School St., Albion.
PAWTUCKET - Ruth E. (Neunes) Stockman, 87, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Karl E. Stockman for 56 years.
Born in Thuringia, Germany on February 2, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Paul E. and Minna (Graness) Neunes. Ruth was a World War II US Army Air Force veteran, serving the Strategic Air Command at Bolling Field, D.C. Ruth attended Ohio State University studying Horticulture.
SEEKONK - Frank S. Padykula, Sr., 82, entered into eternal peace on Monday, April 30, 2012. He was the beloved husband of the late Mildred F. (Manion) Padykula.
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Francis S. and Alice (Wszkiewicz) Padykula. Frank was a World War II, US Army veteran and Proprietor and President of Surplus Machinery Co., Seekonk. He was a past-member of the Pawtucket Country Club for over 20 years and was an avid boater and fisherman.
SEEKONK - Donald Burgess Leggat, 82, passed away on May 6, 2012 at Memorial Hospital of RI.
He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his wife of 62 years, Nancy, as well as his three children and their spouses; Robin and her husband Raymond Grant of Seekonk, MA, David and his wife Judy Leggat of Lebanon, PA and Carol and her husband Joe Robitaille of Seekonk, MA.
PAWTUCKET - Pauline M. (St. Germain) Black, 68, passed away at home on Wednesday, May 2, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Charles E. Black for 26 years.
Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Leon St. Germain, Sr. and Annette (Larue) Peloquin, she resided in Providence before moving to Pawtucket six years ago. She loved country music and bingo.
PAWTUCKET - Rui Freitas, age 41, of Bellmore Dr., died Monday, May 7, 2012. Born Oct. 30, 1970, in Pawtucket, he was the son of Jose and Albertina (DaRosa) Freitas of Pawtucket and grandson of the late Manuel and Josefina DaRosa and Custodio and Adelina Freitas.
A 1989 graduate of Tolman High School, Rui attended CCRI and worked in the operations department of Citizens Bank and had been a United Way volunteer. He was a communicant of St. Leo the Great Church. He enjoyed traveling to visit his family in Faial, Azores and in California, where he took his cousins skydiving.
CUMBERLAND - Jamie Robert Coyle, 37,passed away on Wednesday, May 2nd 2012. He was the loving son of the late Karen Coyle and Robert Hanley.
He is survived by Yvonne Coyle, his wife of twenty years, as well as his four children Alyssa, Kayla, and Jordan Coyle, and Brianna McGuy. He was the devoted brother of Karrie, Joey, and Tabitha Coyle. He is loved by many and will be greatly missed.

PAWTUCKET - Joana C. Gomez, 80, of Pawtucket, died May 4, 2012. She was born in Brava, Cape Verde a daughter of the late Joao and Ana (Goncalves) Coelho. She came to this country 32 years ago settling in Pawtucket.
She is survived by 2 daughters Deolinda Coelho and Laura Rosa both of Pawtucket. 6 grandchildren Joana, Sandy, Michelle, Genie, Yolanda and Carlos. 4 great-grandchildren Tyrese, Isaiah, Xavier and Jalene.
PAWTUCKET - Virgilio DaCruz, 84, passed May 5th.
Born in Sao Vicente, Cape Verde, a son of Jose Augusta DaCruz and Antonia Delgado and stepson of Eugenia A. DaCruz
He had been employed by the Gorham Company for many years and was also a carpenter and mason.
LINCOLN - Aurora Baptista (Gonsalves) 97, of Lincoln died May 6, 2012. She was the wife of the late Antonio M. Baptista.
She was born in Brava, Cape Verde a daughter of the late Benjamin J. and Louisa B. (Barros) Gonsalves. She came to this country 75 years ago settling in Lincoln.
She is survived by 4 sons Benjamin Baptista of Cape Coral, FL, Manuel "Butch" Baptista of Woonsocket, Paul "Herman" and Antonio Baptista Jr. both of Lincoln. 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
PAWTUCKET - Carlos V. Anselmo, 79, of Pawtucked died Friday at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence. He is the husband of Maria L. (Lourenco) Anselmo. Born in Terceira, Azores he was the son of the late Jose Vieira Anselmo and Clara Teves Camara. Carlos came to the United States in 1968 and settled in Pawtucket. He worked at ITT Royal Electric in Pawtucket until his retirement in 2000.
PAWTUCKET - Timothy E. Karpinski, 59, formerly of Towers East, passed away, Saturday after an illness. He was the longtime companion of Debbie Huntington.
