Dennis J. Brooks
CENTRAL FALLS- Dennis J. Brooks, 57, passed unexpectedly at home on April 21st.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Herbert E. and Mary R. (Donovan) Brooks.
He had been employed by Martin Painting and Restoration for 25 years. He was a member of the Mathewson St. Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Melissa Brooks of Central Falls, a sister, Patricia E. Brooks Carrier of Fall River, two nieces and three nephews. He was the brother of the late Robert E. Brooks and Carol A. Randall. Dennis was the longtime companion of the late Paula Tierney.
Carolyn L. MacLure
NORTH PROVIDENCE- Carolyn L. (Sherman) MacLure, 51, of North Providence passed away at home on Saturday, April 21, 2012. She was the wife of Norman MacLure of North Providence.
Born in Cranston she was the daughter of the late Louis G. and Helen M. (Fountaine) Sherman, Jr.
She was self-employed as a graphic designer, as well as being a talented painter and writer. She was also a dedicated wife and mother always fighting for what was best for her family.
CUMBERLAND- Mary Elizabeth Bessette , 90, of Cumberland died peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, April 20, 2012.
Mary was born on June 17, 1921 in Providence, RI, daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Golden) Cunningham.
She was the loving sister of the late Joseph, James, and Agnes Murray.
After graduating from Hope High School in 1939, she worked at Federal Products for ten years. Having raised her 5 strapping boys she rejoined the workforce as a Secretary at Digitronics until she retired in 1975.
ATTLEBORO- Czeslaw Malek 64, passed away at his residence Sunday April 22, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (Kozera) Malek.
Born in Wroclaw, Poland he was a son of the late Jozef and Weronika (Ciecko) Malek. He lived in South Attleboro for the past 13 years and was formerly of Pawtucket and Pennsylvania.
Before retiring he owned and operated Malek Commercial Cleaning Co. for 12 years and prior to that he worked for the former LLV Grumman Co. of PA as an Assembler for 10 years. Mr. Malek was an avid Historian.
Flora St. George
CUMBERLAND- Flora St. George, 101, died Wednesday at Mt. St. Rita Health Centre, Cumberland. She was the wife of the late Pacific Alfred St. George.
Born in Central Falls she was a daughter of the late William and Clara (Precourt) Berthiaume.
Flora is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Hector, Corinne and Bernadette Berthiaume, Lucy Dufresne and Stella Flores.
William A. Elliott
HARRISVILLE- William A. Elliott, 85, passed away Friday April 6, 2012. He was the husband of Theresa D. (Paquette) Elliott and was the son of William and Margaret (Walker) Elliott.
He was a member of the Pawtucket Police Department for 20 years.
Lorraine Lois Frechette
CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA- Lorraine Lois Frechette. Born on April 13, 1934, passed away on April 12, 2012 after a courageous 12 year battle with cancer. A native of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, resident of Citrus Heights, California since 1980. Lorraine was a wonderful Homemaker and loved collecting antiques and researching the family tree.
Survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Walter; Her sister, Sandie; sons, Bryan and Brad(Sheri); daughter, Brenda Blakesley (Robert); Granddaughters, Corinne and Brittany and Great Granddaughters, Ariana and Kaylee.
Wanda V. Villeneuve
PAWTUCKET- Wanda V. Villeneuve (Strybuc) of Kenyon Avenue, Pawtucket died April 18, 2012.
Mrs. Villeneuve was the loving wife of Alfred Villeneuve. They had been married 58 years.
Mrs. Villeneuve was born in Central Falls, the daughter of the late John Bobola and Jennie Strybuc-Bobola. She was a chef at Texas Instrument in Attleboro MA. For many years.
William T. Nahas
NAHAS, William T., age 83, died peacefully on Friday, February 24th, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Care Center. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy Page Nahas for 60 years.
He was the cherished father of Chrystine Nahas Caffrey & Billy Nahas and the dear grandfather of Elizabeth and Alexandra Caffrey, Hannah and Noah Nahas.
Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Toofik Nahas and Nora Gosen Nahas. He was the brother of George, Frederick, and Richard Nahas and the late Leo Nahas.
Robin L. Lennon
PAWTUCKET- Robin L. Lennon, 49 passed away on April 8, 2012.
She was the beloved mother of Adam and Alec Lennon, daughter of Ann Lamoureux and Charles P. Lennon, sister of Donna Reynolds and Kristin Theroux.

Services will be held on April 22nd at 2:00 PM at the Cremation Society of Rhode Island, 571 West Greenville Rd, North Scituate, RI.
PAWTUCKET- Rudolf A. Jaworski MD, 93, passed away Wednesday April 18, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Gladys (Duda) Jaworski.
Born in Pawtucket he was a son of the late Alexander B. and Regina (Jaskiewicz) Jaworski and a stepson of the late Sophie Jaworski. He was a life long resident of Pawtucket.
Before retiring he was a practicing Pediatrician for 56 years in Pawtucket. Dr. Jaworski served in WWII as a Captain in Guam with the Army Medical Corps.
PAWTUCKET- Yvette E. (Sinotte) Rivard-Riendeau, 76, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Albert E. Riendeau and the late Raymond J. Rivard.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Albert R. and Elina (Lariviere) Sinotte. Yvette was a mental health counselor at the Community Counseling Center, Pawtucket, for over ten years until retiring in 1997, and was a member of the Eugene T. Lefebvre VFW Post 1271 Auxiliary, Central Falls.
John E. Pyne
LINCOLN- Pyne, John E., 68, of Lincoln, passed away on April 16, 2012, he was a loving, dedicated husband to the recently departed Carol (Dunaway) Pyne and father to William Pyne and Lori Latham.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Thomas R. and Constance (Nadeau) Pyne.
May L. Wilkinson
PAWTUCKET- May L. (Moore) Wilkinson, 89, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Mead B. Wilkinson.
Born in Bernice, Louisiana, a daughter of the late Palmer M. and Laura (Thurmon) Moore, she resided in Pawtucket most of her life. May was a member of the Darlington Congregational Church.
Stacia J. Choiniere
PAWTUCKET- Stacia "Mimi" J. (Gula) Choiniere, 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 15, 2012. She was beloved wife of the late Emile E. Choiniere, together they celebrated 60 years of marriage.
Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Nemax) Gula.
Mimi worked as a print specialist and office clerk at Carol Cable for 25 years. She enjoyed cooking and sewing.
Irma F. Oliveira
PAWTUCKET- Irma F. Oliveira, 54, passed April 17th with her loving family by her side.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde, a daughter of the late Arnaldo and Irma (Gomes) Andrade.
She had been employed by Providence Metalizing for eight years than Cintas for the past two years.
She is survived by two sons, Edalio and Stephan Oliveira, a daughter Aisha Gamboa, and her longtime companion Joao Gamboa, three sisters, Rita Andrade, Zulmira Alves and Beatrice Andrade, five brothers, Paul, Carlos, Anildo, Amancio and Agui Andrade and many nieces and nephews.
George T. Allen Jr.
ATTLEBORO- George T. Allen Jr. of Attleboro, MA, died Monday, April 16, 2012 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro, MA.
Mr. Allen was born in Providence, the son of the late George T. Allen Sr. and Elizabeth H. Gifford.
He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Allen was a longtime member of the Captain Elwood J. Euart Post, Pawtucket, He was a foreman at American Insulated Wire for many years and a longtime bartender at the Latin Quarter Lounge, Pawtucket.
PAWTUCKET- Walter Hoskins, 81, of Altoona, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. He was the beloved husband of the late Ruth M. (Carver) Hoskins.
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Walter R. and Emma (Foxall) Hoskins.
WOONSOCKET- Patricia Bombardier, 73, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late John McKinley and Rita (Oldfield) McKinley-Duffy, and step-daughter of the late Eugene Duffy. She had lived most of her life in Woonsocket.
Paul E. Vary
PAWTUCKET- Paul E. Vary, 88, of Pawtucket, died Sunday, April 15th at the Philip Hulitar Center, Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island, after a brief hospitalization. He was the husband of Yvette (Richard) Vary.
Mr. Vary was born in Central Falls, the son of the late Emanuel and Josephine (Chartier) Vary and he was a lifelong resident of the Blackstone Valley. He was a builder/contractor and was the owner/operator of Darl Construction for many years, retiring in 1986.
