John T. Barry
LINCOLN- John T. Barry, 77, of Williams Street, Lincoln passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. He was born in Pawtucket, the son of James and Alice (Knowles) Barry, Sr.
Mr. Barry grew up in Pawtucket, graduating from St. Edwards School and Pawtucket West High School. He was a lifelong Communicant at St. Edward's Church and a volunteer at LaSalette Shrine.
CENTRAL FALLS- Paula Tierney, 44, passed on February 20, 2012.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Francis and Joan (Hennesey)
She had been employed as a Telemarketer for many years.
Paula is survived by a daughter, Melissa Brooks of Central Falls, a sister, Diane Mayer of Riverside, two brothers, Kenneth Smith of Johnston and Steven Smith of East Providence and several nieces and nephews. She was the former wife of Dennis Brooks.
Steven J. Phillips
PAWTUCKET- Steven J. Phillips, 45, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. He was the beloved husband Elizabeth M. (Allan) Phillips for twenty-three years.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of Joyce (Renell) Phillips of Pawtucket and the late Richard Phillips.
Steve had been employed by the Sun Chemical Company, Mansfield, for many years. He was a handyman who enjoyed helping others, and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Patriots.
Linda A. Santos
PAWTUCKET- Linda A. Santos, 92, of Pawtucket, died Tuesday, February 21, 2012. She was the wife of the late Anthony Santos.
Mrs. Santos was born in Ludlow MA, the daughter of the late Firmino and Guilheminia (Conceicao) Ferreira.
She was employed at the former Central Braid and Rug in Central Falls.
Mrs. Santos is survived by her daughter Sandra Wesley and her husband Fred of Seekonk MA. She also leaves three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Santos was the mother of the late Lynda Fernandes and the sister of the late James Ferreira.
