J. Paul Madden
PAWTUCKET - J. Paul Madden, 84, of Marbury Ave., Pawtucket died Friday at Memorial Hospital of RI. He was the husband of the late Theresa L. (Collins) Madden.
Born in MA, he was a son of the late James J. and Gertrude (McHugh) Madden and stepson of the late Mary Esther Madden. He had lived in Pawtucket for over 70 years.
He was a WWII Navy veteran serving in the American Theatre. He was a Manager of many local Department store chains over the years predominantly working for Zayre's.

SOUTH ATTLEBORO, MA - Cecile L. Kelly, 86, of South Attleboro, MA, passed away Monday, April 18, 2011. She was the wife of the late Thomas Kelly and the late Richard Noel.
Richard D. Rugg
BRUNSWICK, MAINE - Richard D. Rugg, 63, of Maine and formerly of Pawtucket, RI died April 17, 2011. Mr. Rugg was born in Boston, MA a son of the late Walter F. and Bessie H. (Leckie) Rugg. He had lived in Maine for the past 20 years. He was an auto body mechanic and a U.S. Navy Veteran. He is survived by 2 daughters Annemarie Rugg and Kayla Soule, 1 sister Sharon Gentry and her husband Bob of North Scituate, 2 granddaughters, 1 niece Melanie Loesch, 1 nephew Christopher Gentry and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Irene J. Goffe-Maroney
NORTH PROVIDENCE - Irene J. (Jannarelli) Goffe-Maroney, 83, of Obed Avenue, died Thursday, April 21 at the Greenville Skilled Nursing Center, Smithfield. She was the wife of Edward A. Maroney, Sr., and the wife of the late Malcom S. Goffe.
Born in Cumberland, a daughter of the late Eugene and Angelina (Porcelli) Jannarelli, she had lived in North Providence for the past fourteen years.
Mrs. Goffe-Maroney was a Matron at Shea High School, Pawtucket and a waitress at the Friendly Tap & Grille.
PAWTUCKET - Adela Lopez, 88, formerly of Coates Manor, passed away on Thursday at home & Hospice care of RI in Providence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Aguas Buenas, P.R. a daughter of the late Francisco Vasquez and Maria Alamos. She had lived in Pawtucket since 1992 and had been employed in area factories.
Loretta G. Cooper
CUMBERLAND - Loretta G. Cooper, 100, formerly of Diamond Hill Road, passed away in the Hebert Nursing Home on Thursday, April 21, 2011. She was wife of the late George R. Cooper.
Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Polydore and Emeline (Couture) Lajeunesse. She was a life-long Cumberland resident.
Mrs. Cooper was employed for several years as a clerk for the former Ann & Hope Stores of Cumberland.
She was a member of St. Aidan Seniors, and a communicant of the Historic St. Joseph Church, and most recently St. Aidan Church.
