Sister Jacqueline Paradis
CUMBERLAND - Sister Jacqueline Paradis (Sr. Jacqueline Marie), SUSC of Mt. St. Rita Health Center, Cumberland, RI died on February 9 at the age of 69. She was born in Providence, RI on August 11, 1941, the daughter of the late Emile and Beatrice (Hall)Paradis. Her brother, Rene, predeceased her as an infant. In addition to her Holy Union Sisters, her aunt Mrs. Lucille Coutu of Central Falls and several cousins survive her.
PAWTUCKET - Bobbie Thompson, 78 of Pawtucket died Sunday at the Memorial Hospital.Born in Pawtucket she was the daughter of the late Otto and Sonia (Bankosky) Stillwachs.
Bobbie attended St. Mary's Catholic School in Pawtucket before moving to New Jersey and graduated from Hawthorne High School in 1951. In 1958 she joined American Airlines as a flight attendant and retired in 2002. Bobbie lived in Carrollton, Texas until her retirement and moved back to Pawtucket where she has resided for the last 8 years.
Russell J. Levasseur
PAWTUCKET - Russell J. Levasseur, 87, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 8, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Lillian M. (Phaneuf) Levasseur for sixty-three years. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Treffle Joseph and Nora (Roberge) Levasseur.
Mr. Levasseur was a World War II U.S. Army Air Corps veteran. He was employed by the Band-Age Company, Central Falls for over thirty-five years before retiring in 1990.
M. Charlotte Balbaton
NO. ATLEBOROUGH, MA.- M. Charlotte Balbaton, 80, formerly of Lincoln, passed away February 1st after an illness. She was the wife of Richard J. Balbaton and had been married 38 years.
She was born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Donat and Yvonne (Dickey) Coutu and has lived in No. Attleboro since 1983. She was employed as a buyer for the former Outlet Co. and also for the former Peerless Co. and more recently was a partner with her husband in a coin and stamp dealership in No. Attleborough, MA.
William F. Johannis
ATTLEBORO - William F. Johannis, 80 died on Monday at the LifeCare Center of Attleboro. He was the beloved companion of Constance (Primeau) Doran.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Francis and Hedwige (Klein) Johannis, he graduated from Agricultural High School in Attleboro and was employed for many years as a lineman for AT&T. During the Korean War, he served in the US Navy as a member of the Destroyer Escort Service, Section A.
LINCOLN - Joan Beauchemin, 77, of Lincoln, died Tuesday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the wife of the late Raymond G. Beauchemin.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late James and Ann E. (Cassidy) Nelson.
Gladys V. Goff
CENTRAL FALLS: Gladys V. Goff, 97, formerly of Valley St, passed peacefully February 8th, with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of Melvin W. Goff. They have been married for over 60 years.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Michael and Bridget (Kelly) Griffin.
She had been employed as a textile worker in the Blackstone Valley area for many years. Gladys was a member of the former Holy Trinity Mothers Club.
Charles A. Kazarian
PAWTUCKET - Charles A. Kazarian, 76, Korean War Veteran, of Pawtucket, died on Monday, February 07, 2011. He leaves his loyal companion, Margaret Almeida; his son, Alan Kazarian; his daughter, Sharon Morris and two grandsons, Tyler and Justin Morris. Funeral services will be private. Frank A. Clemente
PAWTUCKET - Frank A. Clemente, 90, of 214 Roosevelt Avenue, Fogarty Housing, Pawtucket died Tuesday, February 7, 2011. He was the husband of the late Eleanor (Grimes) Clemente.
Mr. Clemente was born in North Providence the son of the late Gennara and Madeline(DePiro) Clemente. He was a United States Navy Veteran of WWII serving on the USS Cook Destroyer. He was a supervisor at the Ward Baking Company in Providence for many years.
George L. Fontaine
NORTH SMITHFIELD - George L. Fontaine, 81, of Smithfield Rd., died Monday, February 7, 2011 in Oakland Grove Health Care Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of Claudette M. (Methot) Fontaine whom were married April 11, 1953.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late George J. and Blanche (Bilodeau) Fontaine.
Mr. Fontaine worked as a General Contractor for E.R. Roy General Contractors, retiring in 1998. A WWII Navy Veteran, he was an avid woodworker and reader.
John S. Reid
SOUTH ATTLEBORO - John S. Reid, 90, of Colvin Street, South Attleboro, died on Monday, January 31, 2011 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Hospice Center in Providence. He was the devoted husband of the late Evelyn Jessie (Richmond) Reid to whom he was married for 58 cherished years prior to her passing.
Born in Scotland on December 7, 1920, Mr. Reid was a son of the late Joseph and Martha (Stewart) Reid. He was a resident of Pawtucket prior to moving to South Attleboro in 1980.

PAWTUCKET - JoAnn M. Lamontagne,of Cove Street, Pawtucket died February 5, 2011, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Roger H. Lamontagne. They had been married 49 years.
Mrs. Lamontagne was born in Pawtucket the daughter of the late Salvatore and Concetta(Vicari) Cappello.
She was a clerk for the former Rojacks Supermarket and then Stop and Shop.
Besides her husband JoAnne leaves her son Alan Lamontagne and his wife Kimberly Lamontagne. She is also survived by her granddaughter Rebecca Lynn.
Clarence R. Ouellette
CENTRAL FALLS - Clarence R. "Larry" Ouellette. 84, passed February 5, 2011. He was the husband of Bertha T. (Pakuc) Ouellette. They have been married for 56 years.
Born in Pawtucket, RI the son of the late Francis A. and Arline (Charron) Ouellette.
He was a printer for Universal Press, The Sun Chronicle, and The Providence Visitor. He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Pawtucket, and was an avid fan of his children's sports programs. He served in the US Navy during WWII.
FLORIDA - Julie Laliberte, 25, formerly of Fairlawn, passed away in Tampa, Florida. Survivors include her mother Annette; sister Michelle both of Florida; brother Robert of New Orleans; grandmother, Beatrice and uncle David Giammatteo both of Rhode Island. Julie was preceded in death by her father Judge Gerard Laliberte, and grandfather Henry Giammatteo.
Wanda H. Rollo
WARWICK - Wanda H. Rollo 85, of Arlington Avenue passed away Wednesday February 2, 2011 at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Fred Rollo.
Born in Pawtucket she was a daughter of the late Frank and Stefania (Kozel) Shottek. She lived in Warwick for the past 31 years and was formerly of Central Falls.
Before retiring she was employed as a Receptionist for the former Jack & Harry's Home and Auto Stores.
Roland E. Desmarais
ATTLEBORO - Roland E. Desmarais, 88, of North Avenue, Attleboro Ma, died Wednesday, February 2, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Irene (Lenzini) Desmarais. They were to celebrate their seventieth wedding anniversary in July.
Helena J. Michonski
PAWTUCKET- Helena J. Michonski 92, formerly of Grand Avenue passed away Wednesday February 2, 2011 at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles P. Michonski.
Born in Lynn, MA she was a daughter of the late Stanislaw and Helena (Wesolowski)Cudnik. She lived in Pawtucket for 69 years.
Before retiring Mrs. Michonski was employed as a Mender in the Blackstone Valley Area Textile Industry for many years.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Church Central Falls Holy Rosary Society.
Shirley A. Martin
LINCOLN - Shirley A. (Anderson) Martin, 71, of Lincoln passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence.
Born in Cumberland, she was a daughter of Helen C.(Janeczka) Anderson of Central Falls and the late Anders G. Anderson; she had lived in Lincoln for most of her life.
Mrs. Martin was a receptionist at Samuel Steel, formerly American Steel, of Cumberland for the past 35 years. She was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
Fernande I. Caron
PAWTUCKET - Fernande I. (Gaudreau) Caron, 85 of Pawtucket, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2011 unexpectedly in Florida. She was the wife of the late Roger F. Caron. Born in Pawtucket she was the daughter of the late Gerard and Yvonne (Boulay) Gaudreau. Mrs. Caron worked as a Sander at International Display for many years before retiring and was the former President of Fogarty Manor in Pawtucket.
