PAWTUCKET â€” The great debate over whether to fix or remove the problematic City Hall tower has been thrown another curve with a new proposal to consolidate all city and school department administrative offices into a large commercial building at 100 Freight Street.
At Wednesday's City Council meeting, Councilor Mark Wildenhain brought up the plan and requested that a feasibility study be conducted. The council approved his request that a letter be sent to Antonio Pires, director of administration for Mayor Donald Grebien, to explore the matter.
