Man arresed for phone threats to city councilors

PAWTUCKET — A 31-year-old city man employed as a union carpenter was arrested after telephoning members of the City Council and threatening to harm them over issues related to the Pawtucket Fire Department and contract negotiations with the firefighters' union.
David F. Bollwage, of John Street, was arrested on Thursday following an investigation of the complaints by Pawtucket Police detectives. He was arraigned in District Court on Friday on five felony counts of threats to public officials.

He noted that while the young woman, who needs near-constant care, is currently in a good day care situation, she will one day be alone.
