Governor Lincoln D. Chafee announced today that he will formally swear in Steven G. O'Donnell as the twelfth Superintendent in Rhode Island State Police history at a State House ceremony on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.
The Governor announced O'Donnell as his choice to serve as State Police Superintendent and Public Safety Commissioner last month.
Lieutenant Colonel Raymond S. White has been serving as Acting
Superintendent and will continue in that position until O'Donnell takes
over in May.
