L. Allen Strong
N. PROVIDENCE - L. Allen Strong, 76, died on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Golden Crest Nursing Center in N. Providence.
Born in N. Attleboro, MA, he was a son of the late Lester W. and Helen L. (King) Strong.
Mr. Strong graduated from Swansea High School and was a volunteer firefighter for the Lonsdale Fire Department in the late 1950s. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local #64 and delivered products for Nissen, Table Talk and Country Kitchen Bakeries.
CUMBERLAND - Robert Hinchcliffe, 84, of Harriet Lane passed away peacefully Sunday, September 22, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth S. "Libby" (Wild) Hinchcliffe.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Fred and Annie (Harcus) Hinchcliffe, he had lived in Cumberland for the past 37 years.
Mr. Hinchcliffe was a machinist at Cumberland Engineering for many years before retiring.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in peacetime and was a member of American Legion Post #273.
Even on the phone, the unbridled enthusiasm in Tyrone Naredâ€™s voice was readily apparent.

CENTRAL FALLS - Carolyn Rabbitt, "Carol" 80, passed suddenly on September 20, 2013. She was the wife of Joseph Rabbitt. They have been married for 56 years.
She was a member of the Wilfred Manor Association and previously resided 42 years on Shawmut Ave.
Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Catherine (Redmond) Moon.
Peter A. Spaziano Sr.
CUMBERLAND - Peter A. Spaziano Sr., 95 of Summit Road, passed away Friday at home. He was the husband of the late Jeanette (LaChance) Spaziano and Violet (Dupuis) Spaziano
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Anthony P. and Maria (Adamo) Spaziano. He resided in Cumberland for the past 20 years, previously residing in Pawtucket. He was employed by the former Corning Glass Co., of Central Falls for many years until his retirement.
He was a WW II US Army Veteran.
Donald Dooley, Jr.
ATTLEBORO - Donald Dooley, Jr., 60, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 21, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Deborahlynn (Macreading) Dooley. Born in Attleboro, he was a son of Donald, Sr. and Barbara (Gaff) Dooley of South Attleboro.
Don was a member of the Oakland Beach Yacht Club for many years and was an avid boater who loved spending time on the ocean. He was also a fan of NASCAR and a devoted supporter of the ASPCA.
PAWTUCKET â€” It was a big day for 11-year-old Alec Mustafayev of Providence. He focused all of his karate training and on the second try, broke a board in half with his bare hands while onlookers clapped loudly. It was all part of the various techniques on display at the first Pawtucket Martial Arts Festival held Saturday morning at the Pawtucket YMCA.

CUMBERLAND - Helen E. Verduchi, 92, of Cumberland, passed away Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late Carl S. Verduchi.
Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Tierney) Rourke. She resided in Cumberland for most of her life, previously residing in Central Falls.
She loved to go out dancing with her friends.

Joseph D. Reynolds III
PROVIDENCE - Joseph D. Reynolds III, 44, passed unexpectedly on September 17th.
He was the son of Joseph D. Reynolds Jr. and Rosemary (Horton) Guindon.
He had been employed as a Machinist for Invensys of Foxboro for 25 years.
Besides his parents he is survived by three brothers, Timothy M. Reynolds and his wife Marissa of Coventry, Douglas M. Reynolds and his wife Shaira of Barrington, Raymond P. Gagnon, a sister, Melissa Gagnon of Pawtucket, and seven nieces and nephews.

CENTRAL FALLS - Rollande Michaud, 82, formerly a longtime Seekonk resident, passed on September 17th with her son by her side. She was the wife of the late Lawrence A. Michaud.
Born in Central Falls, Rollande was a daughter of the late Dorilas and Albertine (Berard) Bergeron.
She had been employed by Apex of Pawtucket for over 30 years and was a former member of the Wilfred Manor Association.
Bernard P. Devlin
PAWTUCKET - Devlin, Bernard P., 82, of Burgess Avenue, Pawtucket passed away on September 17, 2013, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Patricia (Regan) Devlin. Bernard was born in Pawtucket the son of the late Patrick and Lydia (Masse) Devlin.
Mr. Devlin graduated from St. Raphael Academy in 1949 and went on to the Rhode Island School of Design for drafting. He worked as a draftsman in the Fram Corporation Engineering Department. Bernard also served his country in the Army during the Korean War.
Gertraud "Traudie" Campbell
LINCOLN - Campbell, Gertraud "Traudie" (Machalett) died September 15, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Center in Providence. Traudie was the wife of James Campbell. She was born September 24, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Walter & Elsa Machalett.
