PAWTUCKET - Therese A. (Roy) Morin, 94, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Lionel T. Morin. Born in St. Hughes, P.Q., Canada, she was a daughter of the late Aime and Aldea (Vandal) Roy.

Undercover narcotics officers obtained a warrant to search Guzmanâ€™s apartment Friday after opening an investigation based on neighborsâ€™ complaints about after-hours visitors and high foot traffic at the residence, according to Major Arthur Martins.
Alice M. Charron
RUMFORD - Alice M. Charron of Rumford and formerly of Pawtucket died on August 16, 2014.
She was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Napoleon and Olivina (Carufel) Charron.
Miss Charron enjoyed her time at the New Horizon Day Care Center where she helped organize and participated in a wide variety of activities.
She is survived by her longtime caregiver, Muriel Chenail of Rumford.
Roland A. Bourassa
PAWTUCKET - Roland "Rolo" A. Bourassa, 67, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Sunday, August 17, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Renata A. (Polit) Bourassa for 45 years. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Arthur J. and Aurore (Choiniere) Bourassa.
Constancia E. Vicente
PAWTUCKET - Constancia E. Vicente, entered into eternal life on Sunday at Mt. St. Rita's Health Center after an illness. She was the wife of the late Francelino J. Vicente.
She was born in Cumberland, a daughter of the late Alberto and Emilia (Marques) Santos. She had been employed at the former Andrade Braid Co, for 8 years, Conrad Jarvis Mfg. for 12 years and at Joyal VanDale for 15 years.
Leo S. Lavault
CENTRAL FALLS - Leo S. Lavault, 88, passed away Saturday, August 16th. He was the beloved husband of Doris (Beauvais) for 69 years. Born in Central Falls, the son of the late Omer Lavault and Roseanna (Hebert) Leeming, brother to the late Andrew and Sylvio Coutu, and Norman, Gerard and Roger Lavault, he lived in Central Falls for all 88 years of his life.
Their game on Monday night against Chicago's Jackie Robinson West will be Cumberland Americanâ€™s seventh straight on television. It will also be the teamâ€™s fourth consecutive appearance on the national networks of ESPN.

Her interest was also heightened by her friendship with a dance teacher, Andrea Vastis, who helps run the Greek Pride of Rhode Island dance troupe starring at the Walcott Street churchâ€™s 87th annual festival.

PAWTUCKET â€“ No one was injured and three people were arrested Wednesday night after a reported shooting incident outside an apartment building on John Street, police said.
At approximately 6:20 Wednesday night, police received several calls from people who reported hearing gunshots near an apartment building at 48 John St. and seeing a black Lexus fleeing the scene.

CENTRAL FALLS - Benvinda Fontes, "Vinda" 59, passed away on August 12th. Born in Brava, Cape Verde, she was the beloved wife of the late Francisco A. Fontes and the daughter of the late John Correia and Domingas Rocha.
As a loving and caring mother, she is survived by a son, Manuel Fontes, a daughter, Michell Fontes and a grandson, Jose Gabriel Fontes, all of Central Falls. She is also survived by her siblings Idilia Cosme. John Correia Jr, Estella Barbosa, Autilia Dylan and Lydia Nelson along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.
