PAWTUCKET - Gertrude "Trudy" M. (Moreau) Trudel, 89, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 1, 2014.
She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond A. Trudel. Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Raoul and Georgianna (Maillot) Moreau.
Mildred M. Chadwick
NORTH SMITHFIELD - Mildred M. Chadwick, 91, of Bellingham and formerly of North Smithfield, Pawtucket and Cumberland passed away Sunday in the Mt. St. Rita Health Center, Cumberland. She was the beloved wife of the late James F. Chadwick Sr.
Born in Cumberland she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Mildred V. (Russell) Babbitt.
Mrs. Chadwick was employed by the former Fram Corp., East Providence for many years until her retirement.
Reno R. Sabatini, Sr.
FORT PIERCE, FL - Reno "Bob" R. Sabatini, Sr., 76, passed away on Friday, November 7th, 2014 surrounded by family in a Florida hospital. Reno was the husband of the late Judith (Parent) Sabatini. Reno was born in Pawtucket on January 21st, 1938. He was the son of the late Reno and Mildred (Oldrid) Sabatini and was the oldest of 12 siblings.
EAST PROVIDENCE â€“ A local juvenile was injured when he reportedly skateboarded into the path of a car operating near the Bliss and Faith streets intersection Monday afternoon and landed on the windshield of the vehicle, according to police.
Police Lt. Armen Garo said the youth was transported by East Providence Rescue to be treated at Hasbro Childrenâ€™s Hospital following the 4:15 p.m. accident. His condition was unknown Monday night, but police reported he stated he did not recall being struck by the vehicle while being assisted at the scene.
PROVIDENCE - Barbara Atwell, 90 passed away on Friday, November 28, 2014 at the Elmhurst Extended Care Facility, Providence. She was the wife of the late Earle L. Atwell.
Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Hazel (Barden) Fuller. Mrs. Atwell worked for the Seekonk School Department for twenty years before she retired. She was a former member of the United Methodist Church in Hebronville, a former Girl Scout Leader and a member of the Rhode Island Rug Hookers Club.
Juliette T. Kalenkiewicz
WOONSOCKET - Juliette T. (Pouliot) Kalenkiewicz, 96, of Woonsocket, RI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Oakland Grove Health Care Center.
She was the beloved wife of the late John W. Kalenkiewicz. Born in Winnipegosis, Canada on June 27, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Omer and Elmina (Asselin) Pouliot. She was the twin sister of Stella Bonin of Pawtucket, RI, and the late Joseph, Ernest, Willie, Adelard, Gabrielle Pouliot, and Yvette Durocher. She leaves her cherished nieces and nephews,
Cecile M. Gevry
PAWTUCKET - Cecile "Aunt Sis" M. (Martel) Gevry, 87, passed away Friday, November 28, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond B. Gevry. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Amadee and Anita (Fournier) Martel. Aunt Sis was an inspector at Conrad & Jarvis, Pawtucket for twenty-nine years before retiring in 2003.
Gertrude M. Nerbonne
PAWTUCKET - Nerbonne, Gertrude M., 96, of Pawtucket died on December 1, 2014. She was the wife of the late Edward Nerbonne. Gertrude was born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Keough) Fleming.
She is survived by her son Robert Nerbonne and his wife Mary of Pawtucket.

CENTRAL FALLS - Mary Pytel, 95, formerly of Cottage Street passed away Friday November 28, 2014 at the Holiday in Lincoln.
Born in Central Falls she was a beloved daughter of the late Ludwik and Helena (Majka) Pytel. She was a life long resident of Central Falls.
Before retiring Mary was employed as an Assembler for Raytheon Corp. for many years. She was a communicant of the St. Joseph's Church Central Falls and a member of the Holy Rosary Society.
Edward I. Morgan
CENTRAL FALLS - Edward I. Morgan of Central Falls died on November 28, 2014. He was the husband of the late Frances (Sistakavskas) Morgan.
Mr. Morgan was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his son, Edward W. Morgan of New York, New York and his daughter Susan Rossi of Wood River Junction, Rhode Island. He also leaves his grandchildren, Allison, Taylor, and Christopher. He was the father of the late Marilyn Morgan.

EAST PROVIDENCE - Antonio "Tony" S. Gomes, 82, of Rumford, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Jeanne (Langlois) Gomes for 56 years. Born in New Bedford, a son of the late Antonio S. and
Capitolina (Almeida) Gomes, he resided in Pawtucket most of his life before moving to Rumford in 2008.
Tony was a Korean War U.S. Air Force veteran.
CUMBERLAND â€“ While many on Friday opted to spend their day shopping online or at nationwide chains, shoppers on Saturday were encouraged to support and patronize local businesses as part of the national Small Business Saturday.
Small Business Saturday was launched in November 2010 by American Express as a way to encourage people across the country to support small local businesses. Over the years, what began as a day eventually grew into a nationwide movement. According to American Express, an estimated $5.5 billion has been spent at small independent businesses on the day.

PAWTUCKET -Mary J. "Marylou" Polonczak, 83, passed away Friday November 21, 2014 at the Victorian Mansion in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of Walter E. 'RED' Polonczak.
Born in Central Falls she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Sepiol) Rogala. She lived in Pawtucket for the past 50 years.
Before retiring Mary was employed as a Sales Clerk for Apex. Prior to that she was employed by the former Fram Corp. as a Waitress and also worked as a Waitress for the former Elsa's Lodge of Pawtucket.

WOONSOCKET - Claire E. Carr, 80, of Phillip Ave., passed away Wednesday at home. She was the beloved wife of Charles Carr.
Born in Central Falls she was the daughter of the late Alfred J. and Ena (Gillant) Depot. She resided in Woonsocket for the past 20 years previously residing in Cumberland.
Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also loved cats, knitting and jewelry.
