Jeanne d'Arc Fournier
NORTH ATTLEBORO - Sister Jeanne d'Arc Fournier, SUSC of Madonna Manor, North Attleboro, died July 9, 2014 at the age of 93. She was born in Lawrence, MA July 20, 1920, daughter of the late Napoleon and Roseanna (Raymond) Fournier. In addition to her Holy Union Sisters, her brother Francis Fournier of North Attleboro, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews survive her. Her sister Annette Logan and brothers Joseph, Donald, Romeo and Raymond predeceased her.
Robert G. Ostiguy
LINCOLN - Robert G. Ostiguy, 85, of Lincoln, died July 11, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Tillier) Ostiguy. They had been married 55 years. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late George A. and Antoinette E. (Bouchard) Ostiguy.
Mr. Ostiguy was employed as a plumber for Local #51 for many years prior to his retirement. He was a member of Rhody Oldies Hockey Club.
GREENVILLE, RI - Joseph Soares, 89, of Greenville, RI formerly of Attleboro passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2014 at Overlook Nursing & Rehab Center, Pascoag, RI. He was the husband of the late Edna N. (Surprenant) Soares.
Born December 20, 1924 in Fall River, MA he was a son of the late Jose and Mary (Martins) Soares.
PAWTUCKET â It was certainly warm enough for a dunk tank to be operating at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 306 Block Party Sunday afternoon, and Mayor Donald R. Grebien and City Councilman Albert J. Vitali Jr. didn't disappoint the kids and a few adults looking to see them take the plunge.
The dunk tank was part of the fundraising activities scheduled for the block party to help fund Post programs for veteran outreach and services and also bring a little attention to the 95 year-old organization and its 94-year-old Womenâs Auxiliary.

David E. Hamel
PAWTUCKET - David E. Hamel, 65, passed away on July 10th. He was a son of the late Ernest and Thelma (Freebairn) Hamel.
He had been employed by Colfax Industries for 30 years as a truck driver and was a member of the Teamsters Union 251. He was a member of the Rhode Island Rhythm and Blues preservation society, a former member of the SOS Big Band. David was also the Chaplin of the Howard Roger Legion Post, 25 and played local Jazz sessions' as Dave "Bebop" Hamel. He served in the Navy from 1968 to 1972 aboard the submarine "USS Bluefish"
PAWTUCKET - Gladys Conlon, 73 of Pawtucket passed away on July 8,2014. She was the wife of the late Raymond L. Conlon for 52 years. She is survived by her 10 children, 10 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. CUMBERLAND - Katherine Anne Foley (11/08/1990 - 07/09/2014)
Katie, only 23 years old, died suddenly on Wednesday, July 9, 2014. She leaves behind two sons, Jayden Chace and Ashton Cole, her brothers, John andKris, her mom, Jenn, her dad, Jack, her grandmother, Heather, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. She was predeceased by Grampy
Olden, and Grammy & Grampy Foley.
Rowland E. Hill
PAWTUCKET - Rowland E. Hill, 89 passed away Friday in the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence.
He was the father of Cindy Roberge and her husband William with whom he resided. He was also the brother of Violet E. Hill of Central Falls.
Committal prayers will be held on Monday July 14, 2014 in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 19, 2014 at 2 PM in the Memorial Baptist Church, 340 Central Avenue, Seekonk, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Fellowship Fund of the Memorial Baptist Church.
Bruce S. Camire
ATTLEBORO - Bruce S. Camire, 68, of Attleboro, passed away on July 10, 2014 at home with his family by his side.
He was the beloved husband of Joanne (Joubert) Camire .
Bruce was born in Attleboro, the son of the late Gerald and Anna Claire (Arsenault) Camire.
Before his illness, Bruce was a self employed auto body mechanic, he loved to restore cars, was an avid NASCAR fan, most of all he was a loving and caring person who was devoted to his family.
HELEN MICHALENKA (Mroz)
PAWTUCKET - Helen Michalenka, 97, passed away Tuesday July 8, 2014 at Pawtucket Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Talia Michalenka. They were married for 72 years.
Born in Central Falls she was a daughter of the late Walenty and Mary (Pietrasz) Mroz. She lived in Pawtucket, Narragansett and Lincoln.
Before retiring in 1979 she was employed as a Textile Worker in the Blackstone Valley Area.

PAWTUCKET - Nancy Bourne, 87, of Myrtle Street, entered into eternal life on Monday at the Home & Hospice Center in Providence after an illness. She was the wife of the late Joao Botelho. Nancy was born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Anthony and Umblina (Nunes) Rodrigues. She had lived in New York and moved to Rhode Island in 1973. She was a seamstress for Dansco of Attleboro before retiring.
Marie L. (Hubenette) Rastelli
CENTRAL FALLS - Marie L. (Hubenette) Rastelli, 68, of Washington Street died Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at home.
Born in Detroit, MI, a daughter of the late Robert Hubenette and the late Claire (Nainteau) Ritchie, she had lived in Pawtucket for most of her life before moving to Central Falls 14 years ago.
Mrs. Rastelli was an elderly health care worker before retiring.
She is survived by one son, Michael C. Rastelli and his wife, Mary-Ann of North Attleboro, MA; and two grandsons, Alexander Rastelli of Pawtucket and Devin Rastelli of Charlestown.
John J. Finan III
CUMBERLAND - John J. Finan III, Esq. "Jake" of Wakefield died on July 9, 2014 surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Finan was born in Arlington, Virginia, the son of John J. Finan Jr. Esq and Anita M. (Genst) Finan of Cumberland.
Jake was a graduate of Providence College and Suffolk University Law School. He was a founding partner in the law firm of Finan and Grourke in 1990.
