BURRILLVILLE -- For participants and fans alike, Monday night’s R.I. District IV Major Division (11-12) Tournament championship game was something like a Six Flags water slide – jam-packed with thrilling twists and turns, while getting everyone soaked.
 

Students revamp CF plaza

CENTRAL FALLS — A joint project by students from the Rhode Island School of Design, Brown University and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia to transform an ugly vacant lot on Dexter Street into an attractively landscaped public plaza and park is finished.

To celebrate the completion of the six-week project, a finale party, or “Party at the Plaza,” is slated to be held tonight at 6 at 741 Dexter St. The event will include live music, food, screen printing, a photo booth and a plaza-naming contest.
