Pierre E. Paradis

CENTRAL FALLS - Pierre E. Paradis, 94, passed on May 25th at his son Richard's home in Providence. He was the husband of Gaetane (Dube) Paradis and the late Mary (Reid) Paradis.
He was the son of the late Pierre and Georgianna (Brunnell) Paradis.
He had been employed by the former Collyer Wire till his retirement and then assisted his son Richard at Paradise Re-sharpening Service as delivery coordinator till he was 85 years old. Pierre was an Army-Air Corp Veteran of WWII serving on the China Burma India Rd.

CUMBERLAND - Imelda R. (Ledoux) St. Jean, 99, passed away Monday, May 26, in the Grandview Nursing Center, Cumberland RI she was the beloved wife of Adelard "Eddy" St. Jean.
Born in Woonsocket she was the daughter of the late Moise and Marie (Roussel) Ledoux. She resided in Cumberland for the past 5 years previously residing at Lincoln Manor for over 30 years and Central Falls and Pawtucket.

PAWTUCKET - Beverly A. (Clarke) Bloomer, 72, of Riley Street, died Friday, May 23 at the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. She was the beloved wife of thirty years to Craig W. Bloomer.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Robert B. Clarke and Doris (Collette) Velletri, and step-daughter of Fred Velletri of Johnston, she had been a lifelong resident of the city.

PAWTUCKET - Cecile A. Berard, "Sis", 93, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Maurice E. Berard. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Annie (Bernard) Grenier. Cecile was a supervisor for Conrad Manufacturing for 25 years, retiring in 1986. She loved traveling, camping, and playing cards.

PAWTUCKET - Arthur J. Fontaine Jr. 78, entered into eternal life, Saturday, May 24, 2014 at home surrounded by his family.
He was the husband of the late Elizabeth R. (Gelinas) Fontaine. Mr. Fontaine was born in Providence, a son of the late Arthur J. Fontaine Sr. and Rita R. (Rudduck) Fontaine. He lived most of his life in Pawtucket. He was a Merchant Marine for more than 30 years.
He leaves a daughter, Christine Elliott and her husband Thomas, with whom he resided. He also leaves 3 grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Jeannie Hall.

CUMBERLAND - Albert A. Jackson, Jr., 81, of Mendon Road died Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Bayberry Commons, Burrillville. He was the husband of the late Lois F. (Rainey) Jackson.
Born in Pawtucket a son of the late Albert A. and Florence (McCullough) Jackson, he had lived in Pawtucket for most of his life before moving to Cumberland in 1996.

LINCOLN - Catherine F. Russell of Lincoln passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014.
She was the wife of the late Robert Russell.
Mrs. Russell was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late John and Mary (King) Ford.
Mrs. Ford is survived by her daughters; Kathleen R. Russell of Lincoln and Beth-Ann Trudeau of Lincoln. She is also survived by her sister Joan Furoli and her husband James of Providence and her grandchildren, Michael R. and David R. Trudeau.

LINCOLN - Lawrence J. "Larry" Godek, 92, of Williams Street, died Saturday, May 24, at home. He was the beloved husband of sixty-five years of the late Josephine (Zaborski) Godek.
Born in Plymouth, PA, a son of the late Frank and Teophila (Mazurkiewicz) Godek, he grew up in Taunton, Mass., and later built his home in Lincoln, where he and his wife lived for more than sixty years.
Mr. Godek was a World War II Army veteran, earning a Bronze Star, and numerous medals, while serving in the European Theatre.
