CENTRAL FALLS â Seven years ago, the Eugene T. Lefebvre Post at 414 Hunt St. was sold to the Central Falls Housing Authority. PAWTUCKET â An amazed Alan Ket sits on a bench above the steep bank of the Blackstone River as three colorful dragon boats glide over the choppy surface of the brackish river, drum beats pounding and the sounds of oars slicing through the water.
âThis is so cool,â says Ket, who lives in New York City and has never seen a dragon boat up close.
PAWTUCKET â Even though he was the winning pitcher in the decisive game, Charlie Haeger wished to have the spotlight redirected elsewhere.
âThe real hero you guys should be talking to is standing over there,â said Haeger while pointing in the direction of Chris Martinâs locker.
