Olga M. Chmura
PAWTUCKET - Olga M. (Cherkes) Chmura 92, of Pawtucket and Narragansett passed away Saturday February 23, 2013 at Miriam Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late John A. Chmura Sr.
Born in Cumberland she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Swirski) Cherkes.
Before retiring Mrs. Chmura was employed by the State of Rhode Island in the Vital Statistics Department. Prior to that she was employed as a Real Estate Broker for J.W. Riker Realty Co.
She was a member of the former St. Leo The Great Parish of Pawtucket.
PAWTUCKET - Hervieux, Genevieve, 85, formally of York Ave, passed away peacefully on Sunday at Epoch on Blackstone Blvd. She was the wife of the late Alfred E. Hervieux, Sr.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Frank and Virginia (Medeiros) Morris. She was a Pawtucket resident most of her life and was living at the Rumford Towers for the last six years. She was a lifelong communicant of St Teresa's Church. She was a devoted mother and longtime caregiver for her husband Alfred.
Anna S. Robinson
PAWTUCKET - Robinson, Anna S., 95, of Pawtucket passed away on February 24, 2013 at the Pawtucket Skilled Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late John Robinson. Anna was born in Easthampton, MA a daughter to the late Frank and Alice (Waszkiewicz) Padykula.
Before retiring, she operated the Lawn & Country Gift Shop for twenty years. She was also a member of the Quanta Club and the St. Teresa's Rosary & Altar Society and Senior Citizens Group.
James W. McKenna
CUMBERLAND - James W. McKenna, 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Oak Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Pawtucket, RI. Born on 7/18/1925 in New York, James eventually settled down in the State of Rhode Island. He was a 1948 graduate of Central High School. He served as an aviator in the United States Navy during World War II from 1943-1946. James was employed by the Johnston School Department of Transportation as a bus driver from 1969-1980, also owning and operating his own Laundromat business from 1970 until his retirement in 2002.
PAWTUCKET - Pasco Perrotti, 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 23, 2013. A son of the late Giovanni and Filomena (Poce) Perrotti, he was raised in the Mt. Pleasant section of Providence. Pat was the beloved husband of the late Victoria B. (Macksoud) Perrotti, after their marriage the couple resided in Central Falls before moving to Pawtucket in 1972.
Lisa M. Belrose
CUMBERLAND - Lisa M. Belrose, 47, of Broad Street, passed away unexpectedly at home.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Joseph O. Belrose Sr. and the late Jean A. (LeBlanc) Belrose. She resided in Cumberland for most of her life.
She leaves her son, Jesse Belrose of Cumberland, three sisters, Linda Goula of Cumberland, Judith Erikson of Pawtucket and Laurie Shunney of Pawtucket, one brother, Joseph O. Belrose Jr. of Blackstone, MA; she had several nieces and nephews. Lisa was the companion of David Brouillette
LINCOLN â€” The Community Against Bullying in Schools will hold its Let Kindness Bloom fundraising gala on Thursday, March 14 at Kirkbrae Country Club, 197 Old River Road, Lincoln, from 6 to 10 p.m.
The event will feature a dinner prepared by Kirkbrae chefs, a silent auction, a display of student anti-bullying artwork, guest speakers, and music by entertainer Matty B.

Noury, the sole survivor of an 11-member B-24 bomber crew, also has to contend with arthritis that makes it difficult to use his hands or straighten out his back.
