Peter Wildenhain, 75, of Central falls died on February 24, 2013.
Peter was the husband of the late Georgia (Steele) Wildenhain.
He was born in Pawtucket the son of the late Magdelon (McGuirk) Wildenhain and Bartholomew Wildenhain
Peter is survived by his sons, Peter, Edward, Christopher, and Craig Wildenhain. He also leaves his brother David Wildenhain and his sister Sister Anne Marie Wildenhain S.S.J. of Worcester Ma.
He was the brother of the late John, Bartholomew, and Paul Wildenhain and Mary Grace and Donald Wildenhain.
Beatrice M. Brierly Dillon
RICHMOND - Beatrice M. (Vanasse) Brierly Dillon, 82, of Carolina, RI passed away Monday, February 25, 2013. She was the wife of Harold D. Dillon and the late Kenneth N. Brierly, Sr. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Henry L. and Rose E. (LaPerche) Vanasse.
PAWTUCKET - Julia LaBarre, 92, formerly of Pawtucket and N. Providence, died Wednesday at Hopkins Manor. She was the wife of the late Laurence LaBarre. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Isaic and Agnes (Howard) Smith.
Mrs. LaBarre had been employed as an assembler by the former Loraine Mills and International Pkg. Co.
Her son Edward L. and his wife Pam LaBarre of N. Smithfield, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren survive her. She was the sister of the late William and Emmanuel Smith, Agnes Coon, Alice Davey and Ellen Briden.
PROVIDENCE â€“ The recent parole granted to convicted â€śthrill killerâ€ť Alfred Brissette Jr. of Woonsocket â€“ which shocked the populace and angered law enforcement and correctional officers â€” is generating proposed legislation to shake up the membership of the state Parole Board and to prevent such early releases in the future.
PAWTUCKET â€“ A local man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison on charges of being in possession of an unregistered machine gun and ammunition, federal prosecutors said.
Isaiah Gasperini, 30, was also ordered to serve an additional year and a day for violating the terms of his release following a lengthy prison sentence on a previous firearms conviction.
Gasperini was sentenced Wednesday by U.S. District Court Chief Judge Mary M. Lisi in Providence, U.S. Attorney Peter F. Neronha and Providence Police Chief Col. Hugh T. Clements Jr. announced in a joint statement.

Gilbert E. Arundale
SWANSEA, MA - Gilbert E. Arundale, 90, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at his home in Swansea, Massachusetts surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Robertine (Gauthier) Arundale.
Mr. Arundale was born in Central Falls, the son of the late Edwin Arundale and Mary E. (Mills) Arundale. He was employed at Collyer Wire for many years where he was a wire insulator.
He was a United States Army Veteran serving in WWII.
Albert A. Casavant
COVENTRY - Albert A. Casavant, 63, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 26, 2013. He was the husband of Patricia (Morin) Casavant. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Edgar E. and Theresa M. (Sorel) Casavant. Albert retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service and served during the Vietnam War era. He then worked as a mail handler for the U.S. Postal Service for 18 years until retiring. Al was an avid gun collector and was a member of the Wincheck Gun Club, Coventry and the NRA.
Lena A. Boulanger
PAWTUCKET - Lena A. Boulanger, 83, of Pawtucket, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Miriam Hospital, surrounded by her family. Born in Attleboro, MA, she was the daughter of the late Anthonio and Leanora (Quaglia) Sylvester. Lena was an LPN for 44 years, working at Cape Cod Hospital, and Sturdy Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Pawtucket Democratic Committee, and various senior citizens groups in the Pawtucket area.
Daniel C. Freitas
EAST FALMOUTH, Ma - Daniel C. Freitas, 80 of Regis Road, passed away Monday in Kindred Hospital, Stoughton, MA. He was the husband of the late Jacqueline (Desjardins) Freitas.
Born in Cumberland, RI, he was the son of the late Lucas and Virginia Freitas. He resided in East Falmouth for the past 30 years, previously residing in Plainville.
Mr. Freitas was employed for more than 30 years at General Motors, Framingham.
He was a former Merchant Marine.
He was also a ballroom dancer at the Roseland Ballroom and also a former member of the Elks Lodge, Falmouth.
William H. Carnahan
GREENVILLE - William H. Carnahan, 87 of Greenville died February 22, 2013 at Cortland Place. He was the husband of Gwendolyn E. (Fitzpatrick) Carnahan.
Mr. Carnahan was born in Indiana, Pennsylvania. Son of the late William Carnahan Sr. and Virginia (Telford) Carnahan. He was employed by DeBlois Oil as an oil driver for fifteen years. He was a Buck Sergeant in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion and loved traveling.
PROVIDENCE â€” Armando Garcia, 33, with a last known address of 486 Mineral Spring Ave. in Pawtucket was sentenced to life in prison Tuesday for the 2010 murder of Brooke Lee Verdoia, according to Attorney General Peter Kilmartinâ€™s Office. In addition, Superior Court Justice Susan E. McGuirl sentenced Garcia to five years to run consecutive for the charges of failure to report a death and driving a motor vehicle without consent.
PAWTUCKET â€” It's clear that the city and future generations will benefit from the clean-up of a 23-acre former industrial site located off Pleasant Street known as Tidewater. However, keeping local residents and school children safe during those remediation efforts has been the focus of state and local officials and concerned parents as preliminary plans are being drafted.
PAWTUCKET â€” A 23-year-old city man is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl at his apartment on multiple occasions, Pawtucket Police said.
The suspect, Sergio C. Fernandes, of Vale Street, was arrested on Monday afternoon after a family member went to police about the matter. Major Arthur Martins said the incidents involving the girl, who is unrelated to the suspect and lives elsewhere in the city, are alleged to have been taking place since December.

PAWTUCKET - Dino J. Romoli, of Pawtucket passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013.
He was the husband of the late Jean (Adams) Romoli.
Mr. Romoli was born in Pawtucket, the son of the late Nello Romoli and Altomira (Pallini)
CUMBERLAND - Lucille Frappier, 93, passed peacefully on February 26th. She was the wife of the late Alfred H. Frappier.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Dollard and Rose Alma (St. Pierre) Remy.
She had been employed by Crystal Thermo Plastics, Magco Plastics and JP Coats.
She was a member of the former Ashton Homemakers.
