PASCOAG - Raymond A. Noury, 90, of Pascoag, formerly of Woonsocket, died Friday at the Providence Veterans Administration Medical Center. He was the husband of Therese (Deshaie) Noury and the late Francoise E. (Daigle) Noury.
Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Joseph and Marie-Jeanne (Noury) Noury. He was raised in Central Falls and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Central Falls.
Elizabeth A. Mancini Larence
PAWTUCKET - Elizabeth A. Mancini Larence, of Pawtucket died on Friday, December 20, 2013.
She was the wife of the late Raymond F. Larence. She was also the wife of the late Emelio Mancini.
Mrs. Larence was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Lula) Boday. She worked at the former Fram Corporation for over ten years.
Paul R. Hardy
PAWTUCKET - Paul R. Hardy, 50, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 21, 2013. Born in Central Falls, he was a son of Ronald J. and Loretta A. (Bousquet) Hardy of Pawtucket. Paul served in the United States Marine Corps and was a graduate of Rhode Island College. He was beginning studies in Medicine of Psychology at Brown University.
Besides his loving parents, Paul leaves three siblings, Richard R. Hardy of Cumberland, Michael P. Hardy of Rumford and Susan M. Lizotte of Burrillville; four nieces and a nephew.
William E. Callahan, Jr., M.D.
William E. Callahan, Jr., M.D., a former Captain in the United States Air Force and most recently a Regional Medical Officer in Psychiatry with the State Department in Ghana, died December 12, 2013.

Lorraine E. Houle
MILLVILLE - MA - Lorraine E. (Charon) Houle, 85, of Millville passed away Wed. Dec. 18, 2013, with her family by her side, in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence, RI. She was the wife of the late Gaston R. "Gus" Houle who died in 1998.
A longtime resident of Millville, Mrs. Houle had been employed in the cafeteria at the Blackstone-Millville Regional High School for 22 years.
CUMBERLAND - Viola (Ashetzie) Edwards, 94, of Cumberland, passed away Friday, December 20, 2013 at her daughter's residence in Pawtucket. She was the wife of the late Paul Edwards.
Born in Republic, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Rose Ashetzie. She resided in Cumberland for over 45 years.
Mrs. Edwards was employed as a Box Manufacturer for the International Packing Company for many years.
PAWTUCKET - Veronica Conlon, 88 a lifelong resident of Rhode Island, died December 19 after a long battle with dementia. She was the daughter of the late Anna (Griffin) Conlon and Peter Conlon. She was preceded by her brothers Thomas Conlon, Edward Conlon and Joseph Conlon. Veronica was born January 13, 1925 and spent much of her childhood between Pawtucket and Riverside RI. She worked for the state of Rhode Island for 35 years before retiring. She was an avid golfer, loved to travel and loved to learn even more.
LINCOLN - A 23-year-old woman was struck by a hit and run driver Saturday night and police are asking the public for help in finding the driver who hit her.
According to police reports, the unidentified woman and a male companion were crossing the road in a designated crosswalk in the area of Front Street near Franklin Street at 9:50 p.m. when the woman was struck by a car that was traveling eastbound on Front Street.
The woman suffered significant injuries and was taken to Rhode Island Hospital where she was listed in stable condition Sunday.
