Council approves $621,383 to erase past budget deficit

PAWTUCKET — Citing the benefit of starting with a clean slate, the City Council on Wednesday unanimously approved a deficit reduction plan for the School Department that involves an appropriation of $621,383 from the city.

Lucille Borelli

PAWTUCKET - Lucille (Masse) Borelli, 90, passed on December 11th. She was the wife of the late Anthony A. Borelli.
Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Yvonne (Gravel) Masse. She had been employed by the Little Sisters of the Poor for over 25 years.
Lucille was the beloved mother of two daughters, Jane Loomis and her husband Dennis of Chepachet and Lisa Giovanni of Jackson, NH, and a son, Victor Borelli; she was the proud grandmother of 4 grandchildren and a great grandson.
