PAWTUCKETâA man with known ties to organized crime and notoriously known as âThe Coinâ for masterfully producing counterfeit slot machine tokens has now been arrested on drug charges by Pawtucket Police.
Louis Colavecchio, 71, of 172 Argol St., was taken into custody on Wednesday after members of the Pawtucket Police Special Squad executed a search warrant of his apartment. Police say the investigation was the result of neighborhood complaints and other sources of information.

BRISTOL- Ruth Alice McDermott, 91, of Bristol, died Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Franklin Court Assisted Living, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Edwin B. McDermott.
Born in Attleboro, MA, a daughter of the late George F. and Katherine (Montague) Lovely.
