PAWTUCKET - Manuel S. Gomes, Jr., 39 of Pawtucket died unexpectedly Wednesday. He was the loving husband of Michelle Gomes they were high school sweethearts and had been married for 18 years. Born in Cape Verde he was the son of Manuel Gomes, Sr. and Justa Depina (Rodrigues) Gomes.
Prior to his death Manuel was working as the lead supervisor for food and beverage at Brown University.
Besides his wife and his parents, Manuel is survived by his brothers, Jack Gomes of Cape Verde, Calou Gomes of Providence, Nick Gomes of Cape Verde and Michael Gomes of Pawtucket.
