CUMBERLAND - Joseph M. 'Pete' Larence, 96, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Mt. St. Rita Health Centre, Cumberland. He was the beloved husband of the late Alice (Gobeil) Larence for 59 years. He was born in Central Falls, the son of the late Ernest and Alida (Laliberte) Larence and he was a lifelong resident of the Blackstone Valley.
Michael P. Sherlock
CUMBERLAND - Michael P. Sherlock, passed away October 17, 2013 after a long illness. He was born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Emmett and Mary (Gula) Sherlock and lived in Pawtucket several years before moving to Cumberland. He had been employed as a fork-lift operator at the former Ann & Hope for more than 40 years and also worked at Stop & Shop in Seekonk for more than 6 years, retiring in 2010 due to illness. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
