NORTH SCITUATE -- Members of the Rhode Island State Police Violent Fugitive Task Force, the U.S. Marshalâ€™s Office (Boston) and the Randolph (Mass.) Police Department arrested Hector Andrade, 24, whose last known address was in Central Falls, for several armed robberies in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, according to Colonel Steven G. Oâ€™Donnell, superintendent of the Rhode Island State Police and Commissioner of the Department of Public Safety.

CENTRAL FALLS â€“ Members of the Central Falls Police Departmentâ€™s Special Investigative Unit executed a search warrant Friday at 63 Fletcher St., 2nd Floor.
The focus of the investigation was a Mildred Ramirez, 48, and her daughter, Luz Ramirez, 24.
During a month-long investigation, it was learned that Ramirez and her daughter were manufacturing and distributing cocaine throughout the city of Central Falls. Investigators also discovered that both females had criminal histories involving the distribution of narcotics and were currently on probation for those offenses.

PAWTUCKET - Mae Jacob, 94, formerly of Woodside Ave., passed away peacefully on Friday, August 24, 2012.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Eli and Marie (Muttar) Jacob. Mae leaves several cousins. She was the sister of the late Melvina and Jennie Jacob.
Jeanne M. Trahan
PAWTUCKET - Jeanne M. (Lefebvre) Trahan, 71, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 22, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Roger A. Trahan for 49 years.
Born in Blackstone, MA, she was a daughter of Beatrice (Champagne) Lefebvre of Blackstone, MA and the late Constant Lefebvre. Jeanne worked in the accounting department of the RI Textile Co., Pawtucket, for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed crocheting, crafting artificial floral arrangements and making her own scented hand lotions.
COVENTRY - Kareemo, Sidney 85 passed away August 20, 2012. He was the husband of the late Marie D. (Carreiro) Kareemo. Born in Pawtucket he was a son of the late Anthony and Margaret (Slabo) Kareemo.
Mr. Kareemo was a US Navy WWII veteran.
Sidney will always be remembered by his family for his endless love and guidance.
He is survived by a daughter Gail Wilson, siblings; Mary Hermiz and James Kareemo, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Barbara Del Vicaro.
His funeral and burial will be private.
