NAPLES, FL. - Joyce Ann Shunney (Totero) of Naples, FL, formerly of Lincoln, RI. God peacefully welcomed her home on July 13, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Michael and loving mother of Lori, Lisa and Lynn, Mother-in-law to Gary Christy and Jim Thomson, loving grandmother of Cyrus and Freddie Thomson. She also leaves behind her loving sister Dolores Carney and her husband Jack and the many loving members of the extended Shunney, Totero, and Carney families.
PAWTUCKET - Mary V. (Kelley) Glaude, 84, of Benefit St., passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, July 27, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Leo A. Glaude, Sr.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Edward J. and Lillian T. (McNally) Kelley, she resided in Pawtucket since1957. Mary was employed by the American Insulated Wire Company for thirty-eight years, spending the last twenty-five years of her career as an administrative assistant. She was a communicant of the Church of St. Leo the Great for the past sixty years.
LINCOLN - Russell A. Allard, 94, passed on July 30, 2012. He was predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Anna (Chaston) Allard.
Russell was a son of the late Joseph and Corrine (Cussion) Allard. He had been employed by M.A. Gammino as a truck driver for many years.
NORTON, MA - Alice M. (Preston) Sabatini (O'Reilly) 86, died Friday July 27 at Epoch Sr. Health Center, Norton, MA. Born in Cumberland to the late Herbert and Elizabeth (Mellor) Preston, she resided there most of her life though she lived more recently in Mashpee, MA and Bradenton, FL before moving to Epoch in 2006.
The Mapleville woman for whom we launched a silver alert has been found in the woods behind her house. RI State Police K9â€™s assisted the Burrillville Police and local fire departments in the search.
